To get this tone you should use distortion and an equalizer with low treble

Reverb is an effect. It is sometimes built into amps or you can buy reverb pedals. It gives the guitar a fuller, wetter sound. With reverb alone you wouldn't be able to get this guitar tone. It would have to be combined with playing through a distorted channel on your amp with lots of gain.
