That is not the only Pizza Hut in the country. In addition to the one in Dhaka, there is also one in Chittagong, a city in the southern part of the country. I went there in 2006.

you have to take in consideration that the cheap food here is like luxury food in bangladesh. everyone can buy pizza in the u.s. but only the upper class members of the society in bangladesh can afford pizza and chinese food. i've been there and the pizza sucks, its not freshly oven backed, its heated up frozen food that you pay 2,000 taka for. i hate how the bengalis that go there act and snobby and shit
It is the Urban Bangladesh. Things are going good for the country - money seems not to be a problem here in the Dhaka city. They charge US$20+ for a pizza - and local people (including the middle class) are buying it- it is a drastic contrast to the Dhaka city i knew 10 years back. When I used to live there we hardly had any place to go out and eat! Yep, things are changing for the better - every day.
Not the only one in the country, there is also one in Chittagong. I was actually surprised to find a Baskin Robins 31 (ice cream) place there. It's changing all the time I guess.
