I don't know much about planes, all I know is service and seating comfort and B6 blows the doors off Continental, Delta and anyone else I have flown with!
i have a question. how is the A320 compared to the B717? I like to fly on 717's and havent flown on an A320 yet. Im planning on it in a couple weeks. How's the reverse thrust and spoilers compared to the 717? Can you feel more of a stop?
hmmm, it's a tough comparison really. The a320 is quite a bit bigger as well as being a bit more advanced than the 717. I would prefer flying on the a320, but thats just my opinion. (The stop is only as subtle as the pilot wants it to be)
Maybe its not so much as being more adcanced but just just being a more sophisticated aircraft. like how it uses full fbw systems, the flight limits of the a320, etc.. Now, some might argue that those are negatives, but personally I like it! (yes I do know that the 717 uses partially fbw but its not full)
Nice!!! Airlines are adjusting rate of climb, cruise speeds to save fuel.. They are now cruising at less than optimal speed on purpose.. Good for them, they're saving hundreds of millions of dollars.. I've never flown on an Airbus, would love to fly in the A380... I don't live far from O'hare, can't wait!!!
nah man, only one trip and it was from Syracuse to Orlando and stayed there for a week, then I flew back. (we just drove over from Ottawa, alot cheaper and you get to fly with Blue)
Excellent vidMatt! Looks like some turbulence around 3:12 in the vid? Those culmulus clouds! BTW--you must have some frequent flyers miles numbers on JetBlue! He-He!
It is illegal to film landings and takeoffs because your using an electronic, but let's just say some people like to bend the rules ;) lol, but the only thing that interfers with the aircraft's communications is something that can transfer a wireless signle like a cell phone
A320 + IAE V2500 is my fave!!!!!!

@frequentairbusflyer8 I'm not sure how the A320 is more advanced considering it was developed 10 years earlier than the 717?

I love videos like these, but I don't know why. It's only engine noise and looking at earth from the air. Nice vid. I prefer from behind the wing.

The A320 was my first and only Airbus experience. The toilet flushes so loudly I thought the tail of the plane was going to blow off.

Thanks, yeah rather a slow climb. jetBlue is a really great airline!
frequentairbusflyer8 2 years ago
Thats fore-sure! JBU is better than the legacy carriers of the US in some cases!
Why do you have all these JBU videos anyways? did you fly within the US a lot this summer?
