She was sent to gain his trust and use him to access the Colonial Defense Mainframe, which she did. But in the process of gaining his trust through a fairly shallow relationship, she fell in love with him and he fell in love with her.

Then she appeared in his head and helped him all throughout the series right up until the finale, and his bond with "Head Six" made him love Caprica even more, and vice versa for her because she saw him in her head.

Yeah, it fraks with your mind.

This is what I think about BattlestarGalactica:

The show is good, Fun to watch, solid history, but... 60% of every episode is about the worst character "gaius baltar" Dreaming or hallucinating about a Stupid Blond... is more than annoying... SO I DONT LIKE BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
