Linuxica, I like this. It has a haunting quality to it. Keep up the great work and don't worry about the high notes, they are coming along fine. Regards!
It could just be my computer. I don't have great sound equipment. You sound nice--don't change your settings.
Hey, have you ever heard Benny Thommason's Midnight on the Water? He tunes his G string down to a low D and uses it as a drone. It comes closest to a bagpipe effect as I have ever heard on the fiddle. Wish I could find a version on YouTube to show you.
I think this video has no such echo as the previous one, but if you all say that...
I'll have to revise my recording settings I don't want to record with effects that alter the real sound of my playing. Thanks for warning me catmcc61. :)
This is very nice. Is it just me, or does it have that nice sound that a concert hall has? What was the highest note that you had there? I'm not trying to be mean, but just out of curiosity, do you know any of the higher positions on the violin?
No, I don't know anything about higher positions. I just look for the note by ear and, in this video I do it very badly, I did better in the first one. Anyway I didn't repeat the record because it was just a test.
o_o...it's Ok but i dont think this song suits you o.O

Someone used the word "haunting" to describe this piece. I think that's very appropriate. Very, very nice playing.

Thanks for watching and commenting.
I think, I'm improving little by little, so little that sometimes I'm not sure if I do!
So people's comments help me a lot. :)

I'll look for something by him, and thanks to teach me the term "drone" neither I know it.

YOu are still getting that concert hall sound. I think you sound way better here than on the older version.
