I'd take the Caprice/Roadmaster wagon over the Toyota, among other reasons because they did come with the same engine that was in the Corvette at the time. It's still something you can competently repair yourself, gets decent gas mileage, has more useable space than a Highlander, will haul ass (around 5000lbs with the towing package), is made in America and can be made into an awesome hot rod if desired. That having been said, why the hell do people even buy Highlanders?

This ad teaches children to be embarrassed of their parents. I grew up in a oldsmobile wagon very similar to this buick. And chances are, parents are trying to give their kids the best care that they can. These cars were made in America. Toyota can never claim that. Take the tin cans back to japan. And that wagon lasted to well over 200K miles.
