Side note: I went to Mayhem in Tampa, and that guy was lame... maybe he wasn't happy being back in Florida or something, bad memories for him, whatever, that I can understand. Or maybe it was that roughly a third of the audience left after Slayer's set ended. Either way, poor performance for my first time seeing him.

Sorry dude, but I listened to Eighteen Visions back in the Until the Ink Runs Out days, and that was the last good thing they released. To say that they are still hardcore is complete bullshit. Just because their EARLY stuff was SORT of hardcore doesn't mean their new stuff is. The new stuff is singy, emo garbage.

Really like this cover, it does sound heavier at the start. Darker, doesn't really have much of a difference.

I do like that they tried to make the song sound similar to the original. The bass sound makes a huge difference and the vocalist does a great job, James I think his name is.

This is a fantastic cover, whether you like the original better or not.

This version lacks that killer heaviness the guitar had in the original. It wasn't downtuned as much in the Manson version but still sounded heavier, this one just sounds more downtuned and muddy, but not heavier.

I dont think a lot of bands realize that just because your guitar is tuned down to a B it doesnt make it heavier. Even Slayer tuned shit way down for a few albums and i was glad when they got back to standard Tuning or my just down a half step with Christ Illusion.
