Assists are a free KO. If assists aren't defended well, you can be snapbacked and have your assist launched to death. If an assist isn't well guarded not only that happen but you can also land a hyper on the assist for damage. With hypers like Blodia Punch, if the assist is in front of the point the hyper is unblockable.
So, where'd you place at Evo? Oh, that's right, you're a mall scrub. Either of these players would perfect you twenty times for twenty matches, so just STFU because YJDK.

the pros go by a tier list, we aren't going by what the pros choose. Take any random bunch of high tiers and put them together and you usually have a team that lasts, you don't just "play the teams the pros use", if a "pro" used Roll/dan/serv would I use them too? no.

With that being said only high tier, god tier, and a few upper tier can last in a competitive setting.

the pros go by a tier list, we aren't going by what the pros choose. Take any random bunch of high tiers and put them together and you usually have a team that lasts, you don't just "play the teams the pros use", if a "pro" used Roll/dan/serv would I use them too? no.
Picking low tier because you like the characters is respectable, playing low tier to be "different" is plain retarded.
With that being said only high tier, god tier, and a few upper tier can last in a competitive setting.

Honestly, I find everyone who comments on this really pathetic. Tons of people have been perfected over the years in MvC2.
The only reason everyone is getting hyped over this is simply because DP talks a lot of shit; okay, that's to be expected. But HOW many of you can actually beat him? Okay, here's why people talk shit about this: getting perfected in MvC2 would be like playing some 1-on-1 basketball at the gym, and getting beat 15-0. Now, what's the one thing you can take away from a complete ass-whipping like that? You don't belong on that court, playing against that dude. Oh, and to your point about standing a chance against some of the elite players in the world: personally, they'd whip my ass. In fact, they'd probably perfect me too. The difference is that I KNOW I don't belong on that stage, competing against those guys, that's why you don't see me there. Aww man. This Dark Prince guy cracks me up everytime I see him. I'll be honest I wouldn't be able to beat him in MvC2 as I don't play it because it's too broken for me and everyone pretty much uses god tier stuff. I find low to mid tier fights much more fun.
