The amount of pressure put upon celebrities in the US can't compare to the amount of pressure put upon celebrities in Korea. Fame doesn't last long and the pressure from your agents, your sponsers, and so on can really tear you down. Also the critics and "haters" in Korea are so biased and narrow minded and very cruel. The ones in America just can't compare to these web trolls. Some celebs talked about how they didn't date each other b/c they knew there would be severe backlash from the public.

this is really sad. All these beautiful people wasting their precious lives like this when they could've done so much more. South koreans should really put into consideration an individual's feelings first before his productivity, performance. I´m Mexican and I can´t understand at all the reason maybe like others comments here: They have depressed per years but they can´t have help from your managers to support. I don't recognize the others, but I've seen Lee Eun Joo and Jung Da Bin. I first found out about JDB's death when I looked her up after finishing Attic Cat. I googled her and the first all of a sudden found an article that said she commited suicide. That felt really strange at that time because I liked her work in Attic Cat and was searching for more of her works only to find such depressing news. The pressure of society and the media is such a bad thing not only in Korea, but everywhere else.
