I have come across a Jehovah's Witness representative who handed me a pamphlet and so I gave it a look and it said something like "the commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ", which to me is just odd. And so I didn't take offense in this considering that a particular religion's belief in Jesus Christ quite differs from mine. They focus on his death while we focus on his LIFE.
I guess the 66 books and the 44 authors in the Bible are not enough as witnesses either. I guess Jesus was wrong when he said he is building His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Jesus himself was spoken of by Josephus and other secular writers. I believe there is very valid proof of the resurrection. They also don't believe their saved just by works. I've asked them.

I am anti-JW but at least I use real facts to denounce their views. This video does nothing to enhance the Mormon faith - rather it shows a lack of decorum and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I have come across a Jehovah's Witness representative who handed me a pamphlet and so I gave it a look and it said something like "the commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ", which to me is just odd. And so I didn't take offense in this considering that a particular religion's belief in Jesus Christ quite differs from mine. They focus on his death while we focus on his LIFE.

My wife is ex-mormon and both cults share the same flaws. ie: messed up founder claims god messed up and needs us to pick up the slack here on earth. Joseph Smith was a stone gazer/crystal ball goof ball himself. Mormons have a hierarchy system as well from the prophet that gets elected in.

@luing88 Actually I believe so. The bones of Peter at the the Vatican. There have been actual places in the old testament that have been identified. Jesus himself was spoken of by Josephus and other secular writers. I believe there is very valid proof of the resurrection. And since I believe Jesus was God in the Flesh I believe that archeology does back him up. Oh and the Catholic church. lol

@luing88 I just feel that creative design is in the fabric of our universe. And I believe that there are proofs available to the fact of Jesus living amongst us. But I know God exists I only said that the mormon religion had almost all things in common with the video of Jehovah witness. let us research mormons a bit: Mormonism teaches an infinite regression of causes. This means that it teaches that each god was made a god by a previous god. This means that as far back as you look in time, this process has always been occurring. This means that from an infinity of time in the past, the Mormon plan of exaltation (become gods) has been in effect. The only problem is that this is logically impossible. Since it is logically impossible, this means that Mormonism is false.

Honey, I was beaten into the JW religion in the late '50's...And remained in for around 25 years, so yes, I DO KNOW what I'm talking about - which you apparently DO NOT... Check out the origins of the JW version of the bible - that "New World Translation" had some very iffy sources, to say the least... And the practices mentioned above - shunning, claims of prophecies regarding the END of the world... "Armageddon" - falsely and inaccurately predicted for 1914, 1918, 1925, 1940, 1975 and on...

You are speaking of a time during under the Mosaic Law, which was a covenant by God. Yes, they destroyed ones that praticed false religion. They were the ones bowing down to other gods. This will be similar to what takes place at Armageddon as well. Now, there is time for people to come into an accurate knowledge of the scriptures. No one knows who will be saved, but I believe God to be a just and loving God. Those who serve Him whole-heartedly will be saved.

Mormon's are Christian. The Book of Mormon was written the same time The Bible was, just on the other side of the world. If you read it's it clearly say "Another Testament of Jesus Christ.". And why would Joseph Smith go threw some much trouble if it wasn't true? Just think about it. I am just stating fact's. Not trying to start a fight.

They do teach different things, because they are written by different people. If you read the Book of Mormon every 1.3 verse Christ's name is mentioned. The whole "Mormon" church is about Christ, and God. We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in his son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
