I didn't know this was a Patti Smith song. And I didnt know Bruce Springsteen wrote this song.

@eggman1269 If you want to know it exactly: Bruce started to write in 1977 but couldn't finish it, so his enineer Jimmy Iovine came u with the idea to give it to Patti. She finished it and made a hit
Thanks for uploading. One of the best versions of this song an I would have given everything to be with on stage on that night.

@jkon1977 Bruce did write it, but scrapped it, never releasing it and not intending to. Patti later took it and changed up the lyrics to make it her own. So technically it's both of theirs.
