... Though, if I may also reflect, I think the gay younger brother in question was the one who disrupted the recording, not the pianist himself.

I guess that affectionate slight to his younger sibling backfired a little.

Without digressing to comment on his technique or the disruptions in the recording, I have to say that this does nothing to allude to the point of the piece, which really does not communicate very well on such a naturally staccato instrument.

I can think of several ways that both the performer and the arranger could have done better to accommodate the legato of the original piece, but I think I'll have to just arrange this myself. Bother.
