I have been watching a lot of old clips from Idol and the Idol concert, and I have to say I like it when it's just Adam. Just Adam and the band would be enough for me.

@Sudschick610 Honestly, I used to think they were. I LOVED when Adam did this song on his own, improvising the moves as he wanted to. I feel the same way about Strut. However, I think that he's found a good balance for both dancers and band, especially in the IIHY performance. I've gotten used to the dancers now. I understand what you mean though. I hope he keeps it at this number of dancers; I think any more would be too much.

I find them distracting and they take away from,....we're there to see Adam, and Adam on his own is plenty of a showman and an excellent performer who provides visual accentuation on his own. Maybe if he was the type of "just stand at the mic and sing" type and was "boring," those dancers would elevate the "milky performer." But Adam alone is SO complete a show. I'm w/ you. Can the dancers.
