I think this is fake, because the PSP got 32mb of RAM. For Ubuntu you need 256mb RAM

The PSP Slim has 64 MB of RAM, and like r3dw0lf88 said, you can make ubuntu much lighter. But I actually think it's just one of those portals people use, like the windows xp portals. those things are gay

man... this looks like one of those cruddy portal that they used to make, but huh... it uses a loader so its gotta be a realy cut down version of ubuntu if it loads up within 3 secounds.

this isnt really ubuntu, its either a shell or a fake. psp's cpu lacks the MMU, memory management unit.

Not sure how much of the hardware they've been able to utilize yet, but it'd be cool to get things like 3D acceleration going. And perhaps a patch for the PSP wireless hardware to enable package injection :p for some good warwalking fun.

thats cool but ubuntu is realy the greatest to port to the psp because its big and takes a lot to run..someone should port DSL (Damn Small Linux) since its on 50MB and only takes about 16mb of RAM to run

ok this is pretty cool and all, but I don't see the advantages like the Pros & Cons of hooking up Ubuntu to your psp.

I know that it is a great distro for the desktop (I'm currently using it) but I don't quite see the benifits of hooking it up to the PSP.
