  • Hi Bob Dylan fans! If you love Bob, I’m sure you’re gonna love me too. I made an apocalyptic song called "A Winter Evening's Tale" which I dedicate to him. This is for all of us folks facing 2011. Do check it out in my channel or check it out in the video response of my fav. video. The song references Pilgrim's Progress, bible, Alice in the wonderland, peter pan, Shakespeare, Revelations, crusades etc. It also depicts eerie classical paintings. Have a creepy and folky new year!

  • Dylan is a poet... saw him a few months ago... still amazing!

  • Yea, good lookin chap. Bob was able to do what never had been done and win what could be won... He gave us a soundtrack for our lives from age 20 to 70. 50 years of poetry and observations from boyhood to an old man. Yea Mic and Keith are still rockin and Neil's still jammin and Sir Paul still plays the Uke, but there's only one Bob. And now more bootleg stuff that's just tops.

  • Dylan,he is still very handsome.

  • He Is Still Handsome - Will In My Eyes He Is =)

  • can anybody list the songs playin in the background except knockin on heaven's door, like a rolling stone, all along the watchtower and mr.trampoline

  • @faizch subterranean homesick blues, tangled up in blue, blowing in the wind are some that you missed

  • @Pmitsou123

Indeed, take away all Lady Gaga crap and replace it with Bob Dylan.

  • He's the greatest. You just can't compare to Bob Dylan. I could write a book on how much I love this man. <3 I'd shit my pants if I ever met him.

  • @choniz1 Tangled Up In Blue

  • What's the name of the song in 0:42 ?

  • WHERE THE HELL DO I GET THIS!?

  • @oak1236 any record store really it's a a like oversized CD case to fit in all the discs, with the same cover as this advert, the red background with black writing saying 'Dylan' on the front. I think that's it anyway that's where I recognize it from.

  • @zarabombon Jakob Dylan? I like his music ;)!

  • @NeonlightRebel keith richards was more handsome

  • I'm from the 70"s. I was neutral on his music but liked him. Ya, us girls thought he was hot. I am now a fan of his music and looking through all these clips I like him even more! I agree, very cute!

  • @NeonlightRebel you bet! and still got something now

  • @NeonlightRebel hehehe thats good, he really looks like my father ;)

  • @NeonlightRebel I totally agree!!!!!!

  • @NeonlightRebel

I totally agree. He looked like such a sweet kid. I'm 64 & have been a Dylan fan my whole life. He changed music forever & was extremely prolific. "LAY LADY LAY" was the reason my marriage bed was a brass one from 1905. Now my grandchildren sleep in it. Who would have ever guessed life would evolve in such extraordinary ways. His look has always been for himself not the media. I think he looks like "A Great Wise Man" who saw a world & changed it. PEACE!!! crab65@comcast.net

  • @grannybonnie Oh, that's a wondeful story :)! I'm sixteen and I imagine it must have been overwhelming hearing those Dylan classics when they were new, I mean, like, in the 6os and 70s. Was it? Just curious.

  • @NeonlightRebel Oh, I agree. I agree completely.

  • @LoquaciousInkSlinger Wow, I can't believe that comment of mine got so many thumbs up ;) It's true though, I still agree with my younger self ;)

Christmas Album proceeds go to feed the hungry. God Bless Bob

  • I agree with you Darthmonk3y.

It lacks only the Nobel Price for which he was alraedy indicated. But some idiot gave it to Saramago or any other unwothless writer.

  • he's simply the greatest. astounding.

  • yes dylan is great

  • I looooooove Dylan!

i was talking to my brother the other day and he took a class in college called the history of rock&Roll and he told me that he had to listen to dylan and he doesn't like Dylan's voice. I had to disagree with him b/c his voice makes Dylan unique. To be a good artists doesn't mean that you have to have a good voice .

I also loved dylan in "we are the world" i loved his solo :)

  • i agree with the voice part...so good...but is an aquired taste you know...but kudos to you!!!

  • i love the look of dylan when he was just getting famous, snazzy

  • i adoro bo dylan,,,e un grande

  • The voice over sounds like it's from an English version of Resident Evil.

  • Their missing four of Dylan's finest songs in every compilation album: Highway 61 Revisited, Desolation Row, Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues, and most importantly Visions of Johanna. I think these four songs are among Dylan's finest. Didn't three of the four get voted into Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Songs?

  • thanxx dasebird

  • np. ^^

  • subterranean homesick blues Oo'

  • does anybody know the name of the 1st song they play

  • gracias dylan

  • BEAUTIFUL.

  • what was the song before Mr Tambourine Man??

  • Good question issie. Im a huge Dylan fan and I am not sure what the name of that song is. Hopefully some one will answer it for us.

  • im exactly the same. i know like almost every Dylan song off by hear except that one. i really like it...

  • The song is called 'Someday Baby' and was released 2006, on Modern Times.

  • Thanks DMFcoy..

  • Bob Dylan - Modern Times - 05 Someday Baby

  • thats a song from his latest album Modern Times - called someday baby

  • Dylan es lo maximo, que haria el mundo sin él.

  • but why the british accent??

For years Dylan has created simple, cunning and sweet American melodies. I think he is the greatest solo artist ever and that people should buy whole albums of his, and no "greatest hits" packs. Buy "Blonde on Blonde", seriously it's the best album ever. Maybe second only to "OK Computer" by Radiohead

  • i dunno i love blood on the tracks

  • second to OK Computer? There's many great Albums you have mentioned 2 of them. Id say Blood on the Tracks & Trout MAsk RePlica

  • Ese hombre es un grande

  • he is the best

  • amazing

  • brilliant

  • one minute of goose bumps!

  • i agree!

  • ONE ARTIST

    Bob's THE Man!

  • defo born with a snake in both of your fist while a hurracane is blowing, martin salford manchester

  • that man must have seen over a billion people smiling through his years of music making, what a lucky and talented man! Its like he was the start of music!

  • You aint my idol, you aint the latest thing. I just really like the way that you sing.

You say things in words that only I can feel. You make up a person and make him real They say your gettin older and that your race is run, Sometimes I get the feelin youv'e only just begun. Well i could be right but then again maybe not. I wonder if we satisfied with everything we got.

    You da man Bob

  • Hey that was really nice!

  • Bob is the best

  • I love you Bob.

  • JUST LEAVE DYLAN ALONE! !@#!!@#!#!@3

  • I would love to watch this, even though the narrator does have quite a lame voice. We will keep out tongues zipped Apachedisco. Don't worry, I'm sure we all are the same.

  • I might love Dylan more than my wife. please don't let her know.

  • what was the song at :22?

  • That's ' Subterranean homesick blues'.

  • It's "Subterranean Homesick Blues"

  • bob the greatest

  • what I love about this trailer, is that it has Knockn' on heaven's door, and All Along the Wathctower by Bob Dylan, songs that people don't realize are written by Bob Dylan. Partly because Dylan's songs are the most covered of any musician.

  • Well said!

  • things have changed.

  • Re the narrator: The English accent is classy--his drama is right in line with Dylan's stature.

  • "The answer my friend" is in one of the photos in the trailer--that says--don't drink and smoke or here's how you'll age before your time. I pray his health holds out. Listened to Nashville Skyline tonight and got goosebumps with "I Threw it All Away." NO ONE sings with his emotion.

  • this is the most amazing trailer i have seen

    omg

i cannot restrain from watching it over and over

  • same here man

  • Cool, but that voiceover is obnoxious.

  • i bought thisone a few days ago, its great!
