@generaltodd2 Hey!! :) yeah im boarding in southampton! are you ?
yeah it look's amazing!! i have licked the titanic since i was 4 when the move came out in 1997 and am interesting in this memorial cruise should be a fun, exciting and at time's a sad journey at the site but overall can't wait!!
@clctitanic hey! :D i plan to! i cannot wait! it should be fun, and even more so is that the Balmoral was built at Harland & Wolff shipyards where Titanic, Olympic, and Britannic were! have you been to the website that explains all the details about the voyage? on April 15 when we r over the Titanic wreck at 2:15 they will have a memorial service on deck. it will be eerie following the exact path that Titanic did, and be over the place where 1500 people died.
@generaltodd2 Sorry to disappoint you but the "Balmoral" was built in 1988 by the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, West Germany as "Crown Odyssey" for Royal Cruise Line. In 2007–2008 she was lengthened by 30 m (98 ft) at the Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg. There is no connection to Harland & Wolff.
As for Fred Olsen being an extension of White Star Line - that is wishful thinking too: White Star was merged with Cunard in 1934. Today Cunard ship's refer to "White Star service" onboard.
@clctitanic hey man, thanks for the friend invite! i accepted. on board the balmoral we will be in the lap of luxury! and honoring the 1500 people that perished with the great White Star Liner. i beleive Fred Olsen Cruises is an extension of the White Star Line. will be you gettin off in Queenstown Ireland? to walk around while we are docked there.
i hear that in France the Nomadic (the passenger tender that took people to Olympic and Titanic) will bring passengers to and from the ship!
yeah it will be great can't wait to use the spa :L hehe!! yeah i will be getting off at queenstown to look around! :) i have been on the Nomadic twice already in ireland it's strange to think that the famous Molly Brown was onboard the Nomadic where she boarded at Cherbourgh, France and many others. Where do you live in America ?
i travel the world with this cruise ship as a crew...and i really miss it..I learn a lot in his galley entertain passenger by serving them good food with awesome presentation ,And now im looking forward to cruise with this ship as a passenger this time..thanks for uploading this wonderful video ...it brings back the memories of mine 7 years ago...
