The movies do NOT build upon each other, so Kat, Wendy (the ONLY one to exist in the source comics from Harvey, since Universal made all the rest up to shill out money from the franchise), Holly, Mantha, etc. do not know of each other & for Casper's sake--since Universal plays him off like a cute casanova--a good thing too.

In the Harvey Comics/HarveyToons canon, Casper x Wendy is the ONLY pairing that exists (in it, no other love interests from Universal [Kat from the 1995 film, Holly from the Xmas special, the "Scare School" zombie girl, et al] BUT Wendy exist, as per the old shorts [ex: "The New Casper Cartoon Show"], the 60's-70's comics, the "Every Witch Way" Gameboy game from '01, the "Casper" PS1 game, & the recent comics for Casper's 60th that give Wendy a gothic punk makeover).
