gateway theory doesn't work , if you take a harmless herb and put it in the same category as dangerous drugs, like you siad that person will be exposed to the drug scene, if drugs were never made illegal there would have been no drug dealers. educating the people on what drugs can kill you and what drugs cant (weed, mushrooms ect, anything that comes from the ground and not man made) and regulating all drugs would be way more effective than what we have now.

Jenn1ifer is on a sinking ship. She has been on that ship so long however that she refuses to let go of it. I remember what it was like in the 80's... the propaganda was everywhere and almost everyone was against drugs and there was always the big pot leaf thrown in on the posters alongside heroine needles and lines of coke. I'm sure she just fell into that trap like most people and still has visions of evil pot-leaves dancing in her head while she spouts lies that are truth in her own mind.

Unfortunately people may take real numbers to figure out the truth, or make an emotional argument that fosters fear in gullible individuals. Sadly we have seen the whole country mobilized by fear in the setting of a totally false claims.

So do not think that just by making logical arguments and showing the truth that we automatically gain everyone. Keep showing the numbers of course but show also the real price of prohibition from terrorizing innocent people and loss of regulation.

@LegalizeOurDream I would like to point out the obvious here that I do not see often. Heres some truth people - Marijuana is a gateway drug because it is sold on the black market. Marijuana would not be a gateway drug if legalized.
