Being a teen mom is a lot more than hugging a baby and changing diapers...now, you're responsible for a human being. I honestly feel teen girls should be encouraged to continue their educations and graduate and go to school for a trade or college. The problem is all the other teen fathers who get off without taking their responsiblity. That angers me. Mom's are where all the focus is, but, it takes two.

I beg to differ on some of the comments made. Who asked our opinion?? Many teen parents don't ask for our opinion, but they sure as hell ask for our tax dollars!

Billions of dollars that could be going to some greater cause, end up going to people like this who have sex without thinking.

But that's not all the thing that floors me is that despite all the difficulties, 25% will get pregnant again! That is so ridiculous!

I think some pregnant teen mis interpret the meaning of these awareness videos... it's not bad, simply not suggested because you can't provide most of the needs for your baby without an adult's help whther to finish highschool or simply to buy him the necessary whe not in age to get a JOB. Not about hating the baby. EVERY mother or soon-to-be mothers will love their babies. THAT is not the issues but is the concern I read in comments!

It is not wrong or bad being a teen parent if you are ready to be a parent like these two. It depends on how mature a person is and whether they are emotional prepared to raise a child. Like other poeople have commented throughout history it was normal for most women to marry and have their first child between 15 and 19. Modern society has extended the length of the average childhood meaning many people are mature enough to have a child at 16, 17 but if you are mature then you can be a gr8parent

honestly, theres nothing wrong with having a baby in your teen years, society makes it seem bad and like it's a crime, but the average age of having a child in the old days was the teen years. i do realize its not 1720 anymore but girls are fertile around the age of 13, it's that way for a reason. im not saying every teen should get pregnant because they can but theres really nothing at all bad about it.

I was on the pill and he used a condom, so that led us to believe god wanted it this way. a baby is nothing to regret, they are a blessing. and i might be young, but i cant wait to meet my baby:)

im 22 years old and i use a condom everytime also but i am pregnant with my 3rd baby. dont have any children tho lost them both stillborn.(r.i.p my babies) but condoms dont always work they do break and yes there is birth control but not all can take it so dont judge people who get pregnant young none of them plan it it just happens. i have great respect for a mother in her teens she is a bigger person then any of us because of her decision to keep the baby!!! big props to all the teen moms!
