  • poor kenny...did they ever give him an in tune piano? great clip though!!

  • hot

  • idiots..... are you listening the music or yourselfs......explore....your idiotism....

  • Look at that! Skinny Wynton with no Monette!

  • @trumpetdumpet Selmer K- Modified... awesome horns.

  • This is cosmic! :D

  • I remember listening to my father's LP of this when I was a kid. Kenny Kirkland on piano....I wanted to play just like him.

  • hey..if youve ever played a gig in europe, you know this audience is doing a GREAT job clapping.....it was a great festival.....too bad that all the warsaw videos you ever see didnt give any money to the performers they are exploiting....perfect that were now watching it on youtube....for free

  • what are you asholes talking about??? paino out of tune??? morons??? look and feel the feel man!!! outstanding version of thelonius by the greatest trumpeteer ever!!!!

  • Why are people so critical on YouTube? Is the only thing you take away from this video is the piano being slightly out of tune? Wow! I'm sure you can't even play half as good as these jazz giants, if so..put up one of your videos so we can see and hear.

  • yeah well said brother. they should put their videos up for a laugh . ha-ha-ha-ha!! get ready for nuf comments :-)

  • Such a great arrangment! Cool differences from the album version. Sick interaction, they are all know where each other are going. Especially the rhythm section. The audience clapping is funny.

  • Good Marsalis

  • I guess they couldn't afford piano tuners in Warsaw back then.

  • Funny that's the only comment you have. I'm sure the piano was quite in tune 90 minutes prior, when the concert started. Players with density on that instrument tent to knock the pitch out of a piano.

  • er... I'm sure it wasn't... It's WAY out of tune. Great playing though!

  • @musicfan826 ...totally right. I play regularly with the great Richie Beirach (who was one of Kenny Kirkland's teachers b.t.w.) and exactly the same thing happens to Richie. Every time. Even on the best and strongest grand pianos.

  • i love the melody of this song.. and wynton's accent that he applied here..^^

  • the great Monk.

  • They really had fun with the melody!
