@EverywhereWest ookay kool im new to this whole train stuff but how  many amtracks you get were you are cuase here theres only like 2 A DAY THE COAST STARLIGHT AND CASCADES

I kind of live in between a lot of trains, but like you there aren't many Amtraks. Quincy is about two hours from me and they have the Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg (4 trains per day). Up in Ottumwa where I railfan a lot there's the California Zephyr (2 trains per day) and south of me is the Southwest Chief (2 trains per day). It'd be impossible to see all of them in one day, so you'd pretty much see only 2 Amtraks a day wherever you decide to go.
