Can't you understand that Clearwire uses Pre-WiMax technologies. CLEAR uses actual WiMax... But it's the Beta version of WiMax. Clearwire uses the Alpha version of WiMax.

did you read the fine print? Clearwire gives you 256 upload. Upload is what you internet uses to access the web. NOT Download. Download means NOTHING. You should have read what was infront of you. And no, Clearwire is NOT for online gaming. Clear is. Clearwire is Pre-WiMax, what your using right now. Clear is WiMax, with fast WIRELESS INTERNET. Don't bitch about this technology thats in its infancy where you live CLEAR is coming to you, just be patient. You won't be bitching then.

That is download, second, they promised 1.5 mbps, i get 0.6 mbps download, and no where close to 256 upload. Get your facts straight guy. Not worried about it anymore, got comcast.

You would have to be on something stronger than beer to think Clearwire is a good service. Just google clearwire sucks and look at all the complaints. Go to complaints board and search Clearwire. You will see how bad they are.

Clearwire sucks ass. You can't use it for gaming, the modem can't keep a constant signal. You will be locked into a contract. If you cancel that contract it will cost you an early termination fee of over $200. You have to put this on a credit or debit card, they can't just bill you monthly like a cable company does. They have so many dissatisfied customers and a high employee turn over rate. This company sucks ass.

BTW upload is for sending stuff to the internet, you know, like this text i am using right now to post on youtube, it has to be UPLOADED to youttube from my computer, And gaming is possible on 256mbps upload, but clearwire has fuckin 1000 ping latency, if you dont know, thats how long it takes to send and recieve packets.
