wat i do is hook the bait on it's back and then throw out there and let it swim and i would eventually get a perch crappie or some sorta bass

im a weekend warrior who hits the ponds on Saturdays. After trying plastic worms/jerkbaits/spinners....I tried shiners last week on a very heavily fished farm pond...I hooked 10 LM Bass, including a 5LB GOLIATH.....thanks to this video..

try this, when your bait dies, break its back in two or three places. makes it swim better.
