I just have to laugh at all the unhappy people that thought this was yaoi.....I like yaoi too....but Bus Gamer is not yaoi in any way shape or form......if you want yaoi...have to check out Wild Adapter's volume 7....its online at places....they have yet to print the book though....only books 1-6 are out in english so far and they joke in a shounen-ai kinda way but no real yaoi till volume 7 and its like only two pages I think. Still Bus Gamer,Saiyuki and Wild Adapter are AMAZING series!!

If you can get your hands on the manga its great to own and one you will enjoy reading over and over again!! As a girl...I love all the HOT guys in it!!! lol I really wish the author would come out with another book but so far only one is out in print and its pretty hard to get a copy! lol I liked it so much my original manga is in another language and then a few years ago I finally bought and english one off of ebay....talk about bidding war....its was so on!! lol

@didwedie I think Togainu no Chi seems to fit that description. It's similar to this anime, with guys in a street fight game for a prize that has something to do with wealth. That's the only other one I know, though there's probably a lot more.

I agree with animegirl907 that they do look like them, but the red haired guy also looks kind of like tokito from Wild Adapter, yet another amazing manga from Kazuya Minekura (who is possibly my favorite manga artist), with how he's apparently a good karate fighter. I like how you can really tell when he draws them because in most of his animes, the main character bears some resemblance to characters of other animes of his.

It's a Shame Busgamer was never carried on, i owned the piolet manga way before the anime was brought out. I can image it would have been as good as Wild adapter and Saiyuki if she'd have kept with it. She is an amazing artist , i envy her. <3 Nobu FTW :P

It's not a gay anime. But girls probably like the drawing style because it happens to be drawn by a female. But for the most part her stories are shonen. For example you mentioned Saiyuki at first she happened to be the one who created the anime adaptation for that.
