Christian book stores are HUGE near you lol, ours arent half that size. Thats being said I would not reccomend Foxe's Book of Martyrs primarily because his later parts (about the refomation) are hopelessly biased and extremely anti-Catholic. For instance he grossily overstates the number of Protestants killed by the Kingdom of England but totally ignores the thousands of Catholics martyred. I would instead reccommend "Salvation at Stake" by Brad Gregory, who is very objective to all sides.
