  • He is not a flip floper, because his views are the same stupid!

  • GOP has no choice but to make Ron their candidate! Ron Paul supporters aren't afraid of "wasting their vote," because Mitt Obama and Barack Romney are the exact same candidate!

Even if the Republicans don't choose him to represent, he will get my vote!

  • I'm not getting it. What he is stating is nearly word-for-word as he does now, simply numbers and situations around him are different. So, he has commitment to his ideas seemingly. As for switching from GOP to Libertarian to GOP - Those are simply groups one aligns oneself with. You can clearly contrast him from other candidates, and his choosing GOP supposes nothing. If you disagree with him, fine. Although, the use of "flip-flop" here and towards Mitt Romney are absolutely different.

  • wRong Paul!

  • Flip-Flop from Merriam-Webster: (A sudden reversal as of policy or strategy)

On the party thing, what does that have to do with anything? You're saying if he believed in his policy he would be in a certain party? And him not being in that party means he doesn't believe in his policies despite still implementing and calling for implementation of his policies? I don't follow your reasoning at all.

Lastly, your failure to back up your statements with any evidence strongly suggests you have none.

  • @BloodskullMannoroth Flip: going from GOP to Libertarian Party.

Flop: going from Libertarian Party to GOP.

Even a Paultard like you should be able to understand that.

  • @LoonyRonPaul That's not the definition of a flip-flop. Your argument is invalid.

  • @LoonyRonPaul Changing parties due to a horrible 2 party system that helps manipulate brain dead tools like yourself differs from flip flopping on issues. The point is he doesn't say one thing and do another. But I wouldn't expect a cowardly lemming to grasp anything without having it spoon fed to them by their masters.

  • @LoonyRonPaul Libertarians evolved from republican party. They saw the republican party had become more liberal so they created the libertarian party in attempt to keep the republic. The libertarian party wasn't accepted by enough people as it didn't get the publicity the "two party" system did.

Paul wants to be in a party that could win him the nomination, so he is now GOP. This video shows that Pauls views haven't changed one bit. In fact this video will help him win! Thanks for posting it!

  • Changing parties is not a form of flip-flopping. This title is stupid.

  • @BloodskullMannoroth

Ron Paul flipflopping on the death penalty. changing parties is flipflopping too, because says you are changing your entire view points to fit a party.

  • @taledarkside He changed his mind concerning FEDERAL capital punishment and hasn't returned to his previous opinion, that isn't a flip-flop. Secondly, a flip-flop describes a change in POLICY, not party. He hasn't changed his policy to match the Republican Party at all. But since you claim that he has, show me how he has done this. If you can't show me you're just saying words with no truth behind them and should probably stop doing so.

  • @BloodskullMannoroth

I'm not gonna do anything. Ron Paul is an idiot like his supporters. Flip flop isn't a change in policy, it is a change in his views.

If Ron Paul believed his POLICY, he would be in the libertarian party. I guess he is just a liar looking for voters.

  • amazing interview. Ron Paul 2012.

  • This isn't changing policies this is changing parties. And despite that, his views didn't change even when he changed parties so what does it matter? And since the media obviously ignores 3rd parties, he doesn't have much of a choice but to run as a Republican again. And that's good, because there when he's sitting with all of those liars like Romney and Gingrich, he ends up making them look like idiots and assholes. Ron changed his stance on the Death penalty, but that's not "flip flopping".

  • Maybe Dr. Paul was offended by the Reagan regime's problem with pedophilia?

  • Great video. Say thanks to the uploader for posting it. Even more reason to vote for him.

  • It is time guys,.. it is time.

  • So what?

  • Hahahaha! I see what's going on here. The dumbass who posted this video was looking for Ron Paul flip flops, and when he/she couldn't find any, this video was posted in an attempt to show that RP is a flip flopper. Oh the comedy!

  • @TaoOfOkada

I know. This video is an indictment on the poster while Ron Paul comes away unscathed.

    Dear me.

  • ron paul switched to republican because he realized that he needs more influence. i am switching from green party to vote for him. Paul should look into thevenusproject.

  • Such a great video but such a terrible title.

  • This video should reaffirm to those who agree with Dr. Paul that he is the best candidate and convince those who do not understand or like his views that they are the best for this country. Ron Paul 2012.

  • Amazing vid, same message for 30 years, yeah hes a flip flopper by not being loyal to the GOP? thats ok with me !! lol

  • PAUL IS A FAKE JOKE.

  • Am I correct in assuming that the purpose of this title is to use sarcasm to point out that the only thing Ron Paul has done inconsistently is choosing which political party to run under?

  • The ONLY politician that sounds and tells the same things today like he did back then and his voting record can back him up. If the rest of the Neo- Con Republicans really supported the Constitution, they would join Ron Paul.

  • @rockytopfarm A good alternate history novel in the making: Ron Paul is 53 in 2012, not 1988. He would SO win.

  • He sounds the same as he does now... I don't blame him for changing parties though... when was the last time you've seen a libertarian politician on tv? The mainstream media only covers Rep. and Dem.

  • I've never seen a group of people more committed to one candidate than the Ron Paul people.

  • love the video. hate the title. it shows how he is not a flip floper not that he is

  • ron is a fucking wing-nut

  • You would have to be intellectually dishonest in the extreme, or completely ignorant about the nature of American politics, to think that changing parties amounts to a flip-flop in this case. Libertarianism is a *philosophy*, after which a political party was named. One can be a libertarian Republican, a libertarian Democrat, or a libertarian Independent. Ron Paul's philosophy has never changed. He represents libertarian ideas through his participation in the Republican Party.

  • @RationalDischarge THANK YOU!

  • Bush Sr was behind 911, the Israeli Mossad agents were hand in hand with Bush Sr. Nazi means National Socialist Party ,like we have now days after two Bush family members stole 43 trillion in gold from the US people. Bush family are Nazi's and Nuclear Mossad agents planted the Nano Thermite. Nano Thermite only was found in Israel in 2001. You Fucktard coward, disabling comments and ratings, your the fucking Nazi! A US Army intell officer disclosed everything under Economy Pt 1 on you tube.

  • It's comforting that not a single ron paul fanboy will ever reproduce, or even leave his mama's basement to bother me in real life.

  • Lol, I love that Indian reservations have the worst care in the world. Even if it was the lowest of the low when it comes to shitty care, which it isn't, there's one aspect which makes it superior to what the rest of the country has: it is free.

  • he is a clueless asshole

  • The uploader of this video is wuss calling anybody and everybody who questions our government a "conspiracy theorist."

Hey if you like being patted down at the airports, having your rights violated, eating GMO food, being poisoned by fluoridated water, beaten in a peaceful protest, having your money stolen by a Banking Elite, being lied to, and sent to a FEMA Camp then by all means have it!

Have it! Be safe and ignorant. I refuse to be another sheep....

  • The only thing flip flopping here is the author's sexuality! Lol

  • lol you failed miserably at trying to ruin Ron Paul, he's consistent and one of the best men in politics.

  • great video stupid title. I LOVE RON PAUL

  • Comment removed

  • lol, this is such an epic fail. I don't really care whether or not you like Ron Paul, have your own beliefs...but there is absolutely no flip-flop in this video.

  • My apologies, I guess hes been espousing these beliefs for 30 yrs. Go Ron, and Go Rand Paul as well. A very rare breath of fresh air in a system of government that is stale, and BROKEN. Income Tax is SCAM. Wake UP you do need to even pay it fools.

  • Is this the best they can do to try and smear a man.

Next time I suggest you find some footage wherein he is not espousing the same values 15 yrs ago, as he does today. Whats that you say....a politician who doesn't change his tune every 5 minutes.

' Hang him high'. I guess it is alright to be a lying cheating Psychopath, so long as you remain faithful to one party throughout. Try harder.

  • How are conservative Republicans against big government? Facism is big government.

  • @riverlioness Fascism is not primarily a creature of the right, it is an amalgamation of both left and right. For instance, check out "beyond left and right" (folk and faith), as well as the American Third Position Party. Both are down the line fascism and both claim beliefs which flucuate from the left to right ends of the political spectrum.

Also, the writer of the doctrine of fascism was in fact a socialist who was influenced by Marx and Hegel.

  • Ron Paul flip flop? get real. this guy is the enemy of beurochracy and special interest. God bless you Paul.

  • Flip flopping parties is fine, its the flip flopping on policies and beliefs is what matters.

  • And as far as the video is concerned, most Libertarians align themselves with the GOP b/c the GOP historically is for less gov't than Democrats. And the basis for Libertarianism is less government in the social and economic sectors. So it makes me think the person who posted this video is either very illogical or has very little common sense

  • sucks seeing people get old

  • Ron Paul is a retarded creationist, and for that reason alone, anyone who supports him, is a retard.

  • At least he doesn't believe in government MONEY CREATION, hahahaha

  • The only way that is funny is it shows how retarded you are and you don't realize it.

  • I just don't mix economics and religion. Besides, give me a credible link to his creationist manifest, I never came across it myself. Paul, being an M.D., is a rational, scientific person, therefore he has to have a reason for his beliefs.

  • Sorry but M.D means jack shit, and Ron Paul and RATIONAL and SCIENTIFIC person?

Like I said, he's a retarded creationist. Want proof? Learn about something called Google, it's amazing what it does.

  • as I said, I only care about economics. And in the field of economics, Ron Paul is a rational and scientific person, while virtually every other congressman isn't. That does it.

  • @mecher3k

Ron Paul is a retarded creationist, and wants to be president so that he can not force his views such as creationism, or anti-abortion on you. How is someone retarded for supporting someone who believes that the federal government should not force their religious views on citizens?

  • yes it is. I found out on google that george bush is really a reptilian. I also found out there was no holocaust and Stalin was framed.

Didn't anybody pay attention in school when they taught that the internet and wiki's aren't legitimate research sources?

  • @md8642 not "always" credible sources you mean? its always a legitimate source.

  • @mecher3k wow.. you are ignorant.

Your answer shows more of your ignorance "want proof? learn about something called Google.."

That took some brain cells huh? You can make claims but can't back them up?

And what a surprise you're bashing Ron Paul on flipping parties? LMAO!!

What about Bush, how about Obama? they flipped on their POLICIES!

    That is what counts.

  • Your name alone says you're a retard, hint there is no NWO.

And if there is, Ron Paul can't do anything to stop them. You idiots own yourselves by saying there is a NWO, but then support any politician.

  • @mecher3k Really? SO I am supposed to just ignore reality and what I heard with my own ears and seen with my own eyes, you want me to believe that our presidents and ministers in the US and the UK, never called for a New World Order?

And you want me to believe you instead? LOL

    "And if there is.."

And now you're cross-examining your own argument here lol

It's not about Ron Paul or the name you call the Elite by..

Its the message that Ron Paul brings, he is the voice of Liberty!

  • @SaveAmericaFightNWO

Ignore reality? Says the one who thinks the US president and UK's Prime Minister as called for a "NWO."

Hint, the UN isn't anywhere near what a NWO is.

And once again you show your stupidity, if there is a thing such as the NWO, NO ONE CAN STOP IT. Not even Retard Paul.

  • @mecher3k who says the UN is anywhere near what the NWO is, right now.. but what they intend to do, shocks me, none the less. You should consider storing food and different varieties of seeds to survive, over and out.

You keep saying there's no NWO.. thats a lie.

Presidents all over the world admit there's one.

  • @mecher3k It's refreshing to see someone actually refute the NWO hogwash. Seems like every other person on the internet believes that malarkey. Most who don't believe it never seem to argue against it, maybe they can't be bothered. Good for you. Cheers.

  • @mecher3k

Freedom of religion is a right . If you don't like it, move to Cuba. Cuba's government is secular.

  • You are more obsessed with Ron Paul than anyone else!!

  • I think Ron Paul is a primitive guy, I'll bet he lives in a log cabin in the woods in Lake Jackson, and he poops in an outhouse, and rides a wagon instead of driving in a car.

  • @Urvy1A He expertly delivers babies, for god's sake! Therefore his IQ must be considerably higher than yours, as well as his cultural background.

  • And yet he is a retarded creationist still.

The government has enough of his retards in it already.

  • @Urvy1A "I think Ron Paul is a primitive guy, I'll bet he lives in a log cabin in the woods in Lake Jackson, and he poops in an outhouse, and rides a wagon instead of driving in a car."

thats made up, make believe, in LA LA land.

if you think that seriously, then you do not know who Ron Paul is, look at how much he knows now? before you go criticizing him.

He's what this country needs, to print our own CURRENCY!

  • This was 21 years ago.

Back then he was crowing about how this system is "broke", the country is "broke", we can't keep doing what we're doing, our kids will have to pay everything etc etc.

Same as he does now....so is he wrong or are his claims just taking longer to pan out than he expected?

  • Ron Paul supported the Afghanistan war and now he's against it. The guy is a joke.

  • It's been 10 years. Things change. I support babies wearing diapers. Ten year olds probably should not wear diapers. Hope you get this very basic analogy.

  • There has never been LESS of a flip-flopper than Ron Paul

  • Lol did Ron Paul just say that JFK supported Castro? Were the fuck does this guy get his history from?

  • well you obviously heard wrong because that's not what he said and you need to interpret words a little more accurately if that's what you heard.

  • Funny how a guy with a user name like "punkXrock420" thinks he some kind of genius.

Smoking weed and listening to emo-looking kids in studded pants yelling into a mic somehow creates intelligence nowadays?

  • lol hes obviously confused, however I know quite a few weed smoking emo-type kids who are libertarians

  • ron paul 4tw

  • Ron Paul is a creationist. He wants to go back to the gold standard, nor for economic reasons, he wants to do it simply because it's in the constitution. That being said, he still has some good ideas. The Creationist stuff scares the hell outta me though.

  • but gold standard is in the constitution precisely for economic reasons :D

  • But, it's primitive by today's standards.

  • @Urvy1A Today's standards are considerably LOWER than in 19th century, regarding liberty and human conduct, as well as government's decency.

  • @Urvy1A Besides, there is no such thing as 'primitive monetary standard', because either there IS a monetary STANDARD (sound commodity money), or there ISN'T (as today).

In the latter case, we have to deal with permanent inflation, permanent unemployment, and permanent boom-bust cycles, which only waste capital and resources, slowing the improvements in living standards and introducing chaos into business planning.

  • in 1988, Paul was for open door immigration policy. now he was to eliminate national born citizenship. sounds like the flop has flipped

  • one has nothing to do with the other. national born citizenship is a failed design, just as democracy. citizenship is something you should earn.

  • lol wow this is the first time I saw a video of the younger Ron Paul! thanks for posting... he sure is consistent in his message and principles. He may not win the election, but his ongoing battle to restore liberty for Americans is worth applauding for the rest of my life! God bless this man...

  • lol look up Ron Paul and morton downey jr...shit is hilarious

  • He can win this one.

  • go ron paul....these people are slandering cunts

  • how does he flip flop? hes had the same policy beliefs for the past 30+ years...(the owner of this channel) you're a fuckin idiot...

  • @oracle808 I gotta agree. I don't agree with all his politics but the guy has been pretty consistent for the last 30 years. There is a video up here from about 20 years ago from the Trash TV show and he was saying the same thing then as now. At least he is honest and that's a rarity for politicians nowadays.

  • @RightWingHunter666 wordup man

  • @oracle808 How does it feel to have your lips pressed so firmly against Ron Paul's buttocks?

  • The point is, a total libertarian society is impossible to be attained--but the nations that largely obey the its principles enjoy much prosperity.

However, Iceland, Argentina don't qualify as Libertarian economy though, because Iceland relied on cheap credit(which is against the economic libertarian principles), while Argentina artificially kept the currency overvalued in the 90s, which is also against the rules of free market.

  • Well no place on earth is completely libertarian, due to inevitable existence of the powerful groups of people wanting to rig the systems(govts, laws) to their favor . But the countries that are the most libertarian have been consistently prosperous, such as the US of the past, Hong Kong and Singapore (economic classical liberalism). Hong Kong and Singapore have enjoyed high standards of living since the late 70s.

  • switching parties isn't flip flopping, switching between ideas and policies is flip flopping get the definition straight before you call somebody one

  • Ron Paul is so crazy he predicted the realestate bubble, credit crunch, and economic crisis. What a quack..

  • An independant that refuses to vote for any Republican no matter their voting record or anything...I guess that just leaves Democrats and Nader.

  • I didn't know everyone in a party had to be carbon copies of eachother. Good luck finding two people that agree on every single issue.

  • "Here's a question for you: As a Libertarian, do you believe it is every individual's right to carry a gun on board a plane?"

Sure, if the airline allows it seeing as how they are a private corporation. I think caliber would be an issue... it would probably be better on their part if they just had the pilots carry guns.

  • Ron Paul Flip Flops!!!! Hahahahahahahaha. He has been saying the same thing over and over for 45 years!! Get a life non-paultard.

  • Comment removed

  • He voted against government intervention and beleives these should be held at state level not governement level allowing the people to decide for themselves.

  • Comment removed

  • the government is corrupt. to fix it u only need to read one document. Your CONSTITUTION. U can see so much has been done by bush to avoid his government acting constitutionally. He needs to go to jail.. u know.. if your constitution is still in place..

  • Ron Paul is what the GOP should really look like. Unfortunately, I still disagree with some of his antics, especially using the term "libertarian" to describe his views. A true libertarian is an anarchist. Ron Paul is not an anarchist.

  • I agree with removing the income tax, the CIA, the FBI, secret anything really, localizing more, and not imposing military force on other economies in order to benefit our own. But I do not agree with the death penalty, or a government giving rights to corporations as if they're people, and giving them such "freedom" that they can destroy everything that gives us life, locking those up who oppose them.

  • Perhaps the maker of this video should research what the term "Flip-Flop" means.

  • Ron Paul is such a loon, he foresaw the economic meltdown, while zionist puppet McCain denied a recession was happening until the last minute.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. The only issue he changed his issue on was the issue of the death penalty. He is very consistent.

  • He only changed his mind on the death penalty:) GO RON!

This guys tries to insult him with a good video.

  • Flip-flop? Are you contradicting yourself with this video? He has been saying this for ages, except death penalty.

  • indeed

when i was a little kid

    good catch ;)

  • This man is a true patriot, regardless what the moron Americans and media tell people. He hasn't flip flopped at all. He did become a libertarian in the 80's because it was the right thing to do. BUT he got literally no media exposure. So he learned the only way to get the message out was join the GOP again. Common sense does not make him a flip flopper! I guess thanks for proving he is STILL the man.

  • what's loony about this video?

  • wow he sounds exactly the same 20 years later

  • Dude, thanks for this! 20 years of saying the same thing over and over. Seriously, who likes that in a politician?

  • Idk what your point is but thanks for the interview

  • How is this flip flopping? This guy has said the same things for over thirty years. His views are wholly consistent.

  • It's easy to get rid of the IRS. Just do like 68 million of American. Don't volunteer your taxes and you will not go to jail like all the others. And if you get to go to court, a jury will declare NOT guilty!!

  • lol? He flip flopped from Republican to Libertarian back to Republican, but his views stayed the same. The only view he has changed on is the death pentalty.

  • m lol im naked! E

  • What year is this from?

  • Probably election year 1988.

  • C4L ALERT: RON PAUL ASSASSINATED ON STEPS OF CAPITAL

    /watch?v=mQl9VKySJys

  • Loony: This post is a self-defeating, inept attempt at making a point. You haven't proven anything except your own myopic intellectual tendencies. Furthermore, as someone who is attempting to sway public opinion in a public arena, you should probably know that throwing out broad, unfounded, uncorroborated insults actually ends up with the most ironic consequence: proving that you are exactly the thing you accuse others of being.

  • adderall is a legal form of meth.

  • As our government collapses step by step, soon we will all be Paultards!

  • Wouldn't we all rather have a politician who is more concerned about the issues than the party? What is a political party? Other than way to get around campaign reform.

We would all be far better off if each of our states had someone like Ron Paul.

  • BTW LOONEY: A flip flop in the way you try to make it is not switching from the right to the middle. A flip-flop is switching your stance on ISSUES! Dr. Ron Paul has stood the same ground on the same issues for over 30 years!!!!

Wouldn't we all rather have a politician who is more concerned about the issues than the party? What is a political party? Other than way to get around campaign reform.

We would all be far better off if each of our states had someone like Ron Paul.

  • I agree, although he did change his stance on the death penatly. He no longer supports it.

  • A WRITE IN candidate must actually declare to be a write-in candidate. The way the system works, a write-in wont even be counted. Look it up. Unfortunately its true. I don't know why Dr. Paul won't declare himself as a write-in candidate so we can show that we support this change!

  • ron paul is a genius-

  • Goes to show you don't know what you talking about. That wasn't a flip flop. Your the fucking retard LoonyRonPaul. Nice try though, for a moron!

  • I also believe the good old american 'local capitalism' is much better than 'global corporatism' nowadays. The phenomenon of american strength was based on basic moral principles like Liberty, Work and Property. That's wad made USA so big and strong.

But now I can see that the people forgot about their fundaments. They don't know what economic liberalism (actual capitalism) really is. E.g sb finds The Bill from MicroSHIT as an capitalist gotta be an idiot.

What happend to you, the great USA?

  • Actually I don't see a big change. And this is exactly what I wanted to hear, although I support the Death Penalty. But, wait, maybe there really is some essential 'flip-flop' - as he's now much older - he looks and sounds much more sympathetic :-)

And he was right at the end, libertarianism is based on the previos republicans principles - actually I'm pretty sure Jefferson, Lincoln and Franklin were 'libertarians' in their age. As well as: Adam Smith or J. S. Mill and Vincent de Gournay.

  • i don't see how this hurts him.. i did notice one flip, which is the Death Penalty, he's against that now.

this video is a good one, actually ! lol, he sounds exactly the same today, so to me i kno i can trust what he say

  • so long as he enables the people to effectivly say fuck you to the government and not get shot by the f,b,i c,i,a and the millitary i dont care what he flip flops to....its ideology not party

  • Great interview -- Ron Paul has always been The Man.

This is the year to vote Libertarian again:

    Bob Barr for President!

  • I will be writing in Ron Paul.

  • This guy's obsessed. Ron Paul is apprently renting space inside his head.

  • "The heart of conservatism is libertarian."

    -Ronald Regean

  • This video is from 20 years ago. Ron Paul left the Republican Party for a year to run on the Libertarian ticket in 1988. Whoopty doo.

  • I thought the US dollar isnt US but rather a

G-d Damned piece of paper made by a private corporation?? US money is GOLD and SILVER...dont ever forget that. Think sovereign and stop thinking in Federal Reserve, Inc. Notes. Thank you for your time.

  • Also, the guy asked "right now we have thousands of people living outside in the streets and your plan wouldn't help them at all".

That's funny... apparently the current plan isn't helping them either...BECAUSE THEY LIVE IN THE STREETS.

People should be helped through charities etc... the government does a bad job of taking care of anyone. We don't need the Government to coddle us. Just ask those people living out in the streets.

  • Wait... this video is Anti Ron Paul?

I think this video is pro Ron Paul, and coming to the realization that there only two parties, and the only way to get a elected right now is join one of those parties... and that's one of the problems he wants to address moving forward.

  • Native Americans have great healthcare nowadays since the socialist Native Americans are all scalping the white man at their casinos.

  • Bull! Have you ever been to a reservation? It's like a third world country! The U.S. has committed the most successful genocide in world history all in the name of "freedom"

  • oh, yeah, well fuck those native americans right? they dont deserve it, huh? Believe in Manifest Destiny or something?

  • Oh and it's not changing you party that means you flip, it's changing your beliefs and principals. Something John McCain should know all about.
