Excellent filming! Cameraman and mallet could have been shown more prominently. Lost continuity on him hitting ball and then cutting to old time man hitting ball. I assumed it was the same guy, but it would have been better to cut from present film of hitting to old time ball rolling. Nice concept. Who thought of croquet?
Yeah, I see your point about continuity. The reason I cut from the cameraman hitting the ball to the black and white dude hitting the ball was to show that the audience was watching the edited film and wouldn't have seen the cameraman hitting the ball. Croquet was thought of by me; I used to play as a kid and would set up huge complex fields that were impossible to play!
