  • Is that.. macaroni and cheese? LOL

  • So cute! :D

  • what are you feeding him?

  • thats so cute !

  • leo is a smart bird,i've seen most of your videos and i could never get my conure to do all that.

  • If you put the time in and build a reslly strong bond then you can.

  • THAT IS SO CUTE! =D hehe

  • Ooooh how adorable and beautiful Leo is!!

  • hahahahahahahahahaha thats amazing, what were you feeding him?

  • l0l

  • could you teach me how to do that?please?

  • It's easy. When I say "put your dukes up", you roll on to your back.

  • lol very funny. i wanna teach my conure goober to do some of those tricks(hes 5 years old so im not sure if ill be able to)can you teach me the methods you use plzzz?

  • I started with just getting him comfortable on his back in my hand... then on the table. I gave him a treat every time I put him up-side-down, but I would wait a little longer each time.

Once I could "pose him" up-side-down, it was fairly easy to "pose him" with his dukes up (he lets me pull on his wings). Then I just associate with a command.

  • What treat did you give him to get him to do that?

  • Well in the video, it's macaroni and cheese... But I taught him with "Fruit Bites" bird treats.

  • hey i dont man to be intrucive or anything but a vet told me that milk products are bad for th birds

  • As with most animals, save humans who still have a rough time with it, they don't digest the stuff too easily. It's perfectly fine as long as you don't overdo it.

Mac'n Cheese is a sometimes food.

  • what about cheese or milk?would that be overdoing it?

  • They're basically lactose intolerant, so use discretion is all. I probably wouldn't go for straight milk, but it's not "ohmygodrushtothevet" if they get some or anything.

  • ah ok so basicly just try to b careful with milk products

  • Cute!

  • make a vid on how to do that or could you email me on how to do it with my sung conure?

  • Someday I'll put up a basic birdie-training vid I guess.

  • Thats too cute, smart bird

  • dude how did you teach him on how to put his dukes up?

  • Your Leo is the BEST!!!! LMAO, the best is when you two are giggleing!

  • OMG that is so cute, If my BCC wasn't so stubborn I would teach how to do tricks but he only does what HE wants to do... He's very moody sometimes!

  • I taught my sun conure the same trick, think I saw it on Animal planet. Yours does it better, mine hates being on his back.

  • damn lolll how you do that??

  • Clever training. =) He was hand-raised from 2 weeks.

  • how gorguzzz

  • THAT WAS GREAT! Cute and Clever!
