This was one helluva 2 sides of a record - a mini masterpiece. The other of course being McCartney's "Paperback Writer". However, John Lennon's "Rain" just about edges it. Good guitar riff, strong bass line, fab drumming, topped with John's "Dylan" infuenced vocal. The Beatles weren't just singing about love and holding hands any more and this single for me represents one of the finest moments from this greatest of all bands.We will never see their like again.
