is just something in this game that fails at simulations? i think this is a 100% air combat simulator (if we forget the military ground forces, and how vehicles and briges explode on ground, also, if we forget all about the unrealistic explosion, because the explosion occur at every crash, it doesn't deppend from the position) this is perfect.......

@zakyzeek depends on how much realism you want to have. even on lowest realism settings it is harder than a standard arcade game. but this game is meant to be played in full real settings and thats when it begins to shine!

Hey TUCKIE100, why did you add the Spit Fires in the mission because really there weren't any spit fires in Operation Bodenplatte, all there were that the Germans were attacking was the XP-47's, and the P-51D Mustangs and of course, the American base Y-29.

@WoyxProshots The Germans attacked British airfields too during Bodenplatte, and fought with Spitfires, Tempests, and Typhoons. It wasn't just the Americans. The airfield at Y29 was just one of many bases that were attacked. Don't expect Dogfights to give you the full history of the event, they'll usually cut out anything but the American parts.

First I had to download both the (first) 4.08 patch & then the (second) 4.09 upgrade patch. Then download Hyperlobby. Just question Google about the patches & Hyperlobby & you'll find the downloads. This is for IL2 '46 only. If I can do it, a young wippersnapper like you can do it.
