Nope, that's actually the reason why this is one of the best DBZ games, because it IGNORED the Majin saga...which sucked HARD in comparition with the rest of the story.

Heck, even the Cell saga was not on the same level as everything before it.

The Frieza saga was the original ending for Dragon Ball (according to Toriyama himself) its known that he only "dragged on" the story (Cell & Majin Sagas) because people wanted a few more years of DBZ, so Shounen Jump pushed him to continue.

Yes, you're right, it did, but it's still more fun to play all the sagas than just the first couple. I completely agree with you but it needed more gameplay, way too short. Even then, excluding the buu sagas, they could have at the very least done Dragonball.

And I liked your idea. I would TOTALLY go for a game that had Burst Limit's graphics & gameplay, but took the story since the very begining of Dragon Ball, and went up to the Frieza Saga....as for me, that's were Dragon Ball ended T_T

Another problem I have is the fact that they cover the SAME sagas in every dbz game. This is really just budokai with better graphics. Tenkaichi 3 was my favorite because in went over everything and the gameplay was superb.
