  • Most of this video had me lost. It's as if there's a big chunk of info I should have been aware of prior to watching it.

  • It really helped when I came across the testing and being infp because it explained so much about how we react and see things and made me feel less bad about being in my own world lol

  • "IAM "IAM NOT" YOU ALL HAIL EUGENISM THEORIES,NEXT YOU WILL BE NOSTALGIC OF THE RACIAL PROTOCOL??HMMM! IT SMELL BAD,MORE IT START STINK IN AMERICA!!!

  • I'm an INFP and I don't like people one little bit.

  • Intuition, Feeling, Perception. No Thinking, Judging or Sensing.

Also Introverted... You know what this means to me? That I just spend all day in my own mind thinking stupid shit.

Goddamn it. I mean, I know I'm supposed to have a Mr. Rogers kind of mentality, but... God.

  • @Ebvardh lol there's the Mr. rogers mentality but then there's the Audrey Hepburn mentality, or the Mother Teresa mentality, or the Joan of Arc metality, or even Myer Briggs herself.

  • Is it just me or are there far more than 1% of the population who are INFPs?

or maybe their just on the internet more... :-/

don't get me wrong. I am an INFP myself... I just... want to be special :'(

  • @inkcannon 4.4 perecent are infps,myself included

  • @inkcannon i know, i feel the same. I still tell people I'm one percent of the population even if I know better ;)

  • I had to take this for school, I always get INFP

  • @razorbladekissss oh yeah and its weird that this was recommended to me by YouTube. it's like they know my personality test result in some fbi file somewhere

  • im an infp too!...its tough because i tend to distance myself..but i love who i am :)

  • i love being an infp its just who i am....i am a bit more extroverted though but i still am an introvert. i dont like being alone ALL the time.....i do need to be social just not as much as most people. i enjoy talking to others but i am definately an introvert. (i am so much more talkative here :) i am idealistic, artistic, dreamy, and optimistic and long to help people no matter the consequences.

  • @CloudWatcherX i'm the same. That's why my two closest friends at the moment are extroverted (ESFP and ESFJ). I feel like they're my connection to the outside world. I do have to get away from them sometimes though so I can recharge.

  • haha the comments on this vid are funny.

I used to hate being an INFP and tried hard to change it, but I'm stuck with it :p

I guess it's not so bad. I do love having jokes in my head all the time that no one knows about and I always catch myself with optimism. I'm a little crazy, but I'm happy lol

  • @digthewarmth haha I'm the same way. I could just sit and stare at a plain white ceiling for several minutes and be absolutely content. It's like I'm high without smoking lol.

  • @aelishaful lol exactly! infp's are awesome!

  • i am infp.....

  • I love being an INFP. Though being an INFP male I find it hard sometimes, as it seems that certain INFP characteristics aren't as accepted in males as they are in females in our society.

  • I'm an INFP and I love the type!

  • it sucks to be an INFP

  • @lailum lol u better get happy being the way u are because IT WILL NOT GO AWAY.

  • im proud to be a infp.they say that we seek the meaning of the life....kinda like me.yep i agree fully that im an INFP.yeah and i like writing!oh the world changed for me a lot ! and i had always problems with deciding between things. i love to be the healer! now im happy ~(*v*)~<3

  • I'm also an INFP female, and at the same time it's cool to be different from most of the people, it sucks sometimes.

And oh, I love so much all of the INxx types, we're just the coolest people around, haha. :P

  • I'm just curious, but did everyone figure out they're an INFP by the test alone? My test was pretty faulty and said I was an ISTJ, but after reading the book "Please Understand Me", I pieced together that I'm an INFP.

    I wanted to kill the test while I was taking it, too. It was so hard for me to pick answers because I felt like they could be interpreted in so many ways. D;

  • I usually score INFP on the test - I think the test is kind of dumb both in the questions it asks and in the choices offered to the test taker. Part of the second may be the time in which the test was made (sometime in the 50s?). I have taken it several times over several years and always find it frustrating if not just stupid in the way it - to me - oversimplifies the options for the questions it asks.

  • @mikejhm This is why if you're really interested, you should do some self-typing by reviewing the cognitive functions of each type and reading profiles of each type to help decide which is most like you. You may use forums to help find your personality (I'm on personalitycafe).

  • I'm an INFP. I don't see why other people here seem to be depressed about having INFP as their type... it's no worse or no better than any other type. It's just who you are ^^

And I also don't see the sense in hating on ESTJs... so what, they may be different than our type but what right do we have to say ALL ESTJs are bad? That's just mean and judgemental.

  • I'm INFP.

I'm boring and have nothing to contribute to convos.

  • @turbo0strid3r

Sorry you feel that way about yourself, but you shouldn't. Everyone is valuable and unique in their own way. So don't be so hard on yourself. People are multidimensional beings, and I find that it would be quite impossible for someone to be boring in every aspect of their life so I'm sure you're not. Cheer up :) Be proud of who you are :)

  • @turb0strid3r hahahahaha. I'm an Infp too and I found that I can contribute to convos when I focus more on the person I'm talking to than what I will say next. It also helps to use your harmony skills to make connections and bring people together so the focus won't be completely on you. I'm still learning though.

  • @SarabiLioness

Well, don't know how I compare to other INFPs, but, it can get lonely. It feels no one really gets you, so you don't speak out for the sake of preventing strife. I don't get how people are extraverted, not a care in the world. Sensors cannot see what we see or read between the lines. Thinking go with their heads and us with our hearts. Judging is so quick to respond without thinking "What if?" We'll never get along if neither gives some wiggle room.

  • I do agree with the loneliness part, in that few people think the way we do. I experience that as well. I´ll agree with the not speaking out part too. I´m like that, unless someone says something I´m morally opposed to. I do struggle getting along with ESTJs, but all I mean is I don´t see the sense in condemning them just because they function differently ;)

  • INxPs are probably the most insightful of all personality types. They're well centered on the introverted judging process while noticing high level connections on the outside world. I definetelly woudn't trade my personality for any other one. I'm an INTP and some of my best friends are INFPs

Btw, if you ever run into an INTP, just remember that we can relate to concepts and be interested on them, but only if a logical conclusion is possible (we can't provide emotional support).

  • @SarabiLioness I am INFP (very strong NF) and my mother is ESTJ. We have/had a TERRIBLE relationship. We are trying to understand each other better now though.

  • Check out "16 Men" by Loren Petersen. It is more to my liking than other web sources, imo. At 26 I'm finding people to be unpleasant, dishonest, cruel, WEAK, and (languistically speaking) repetitive and unclever.

  • @nephalim83 Welcome to the human race my friend. Remember that you really are one in a million - do something with it. Cheers.

  • took the myers briggs test, and I'm an ISTJ, yay

  • REEECKoNEEERRRR!!!!!

  • I'm a INFP :)

  • i always thought i was the only person on earth who felt so different from everyone else. i feel like everyone else in society is so simple minded and insignificant. i hate being depressed all the time.

  • this personality shit is weird but somewhat accurate

    i knew i was special

and i thought im surely going to go crazy by the age of 21

and then i found out i have a rare personality

gee i cant take all this shit

  • Tell me about it... Are you in iNtuitive? iNtuitives as a whole make up about 30% of the US population. Not very much. D;

  • Hahaha I agree.

Ever since I was little I always thought that I was special and knew I was different in some vague way but then I'd always check myself and say "God, what's wrong with you? You aren't special....but you may be delusional."

Now I'm not so harsh on myself now that I found out I was INFP. Although I have to admit that I still doubt myself when I feel I may be "special" or rare, I think that's why I took the test twice. Haha.

  • @WhiskeyyWoman ...I feel exactly the same way...and I am an INFP too...!!! we should stop being hard on ourselves whether we are INFPs or not..

  • Comment removed

  • another infp here ;)

a world without estj... awsome :)

  • We INFPs should all chip in on an island and start our own country.... Imagine.....A world without ESTJ's... I could probaby actually get out of bed and face the world in such a world..lol

  • I'm an INFP male and married a spectacular ESTJ woman. We both have a very good sense of humor, which is required at times.

She has tried to break the rose-colored glasses that I wear all day every day. But she admits that she sometimes wishes that she could live in the tranquility and sunshine that can be found in my head.

She loves her organized shelves and containers and lists, and I love the 16 books that I'm reading all at the same time.

  • Honestly though, without ESTJ's, some of us would have to become accountants! Imagine the horror of being trapped in the mind prison that is routine, repetitious labor!

I once worked as a warehouse book checker-inner at Barnes and Noble...may have set all time records for lack of production...was very well read however.

  • Exactly! Those other types are there so we don't have to do the dirty work!

    And oh... how a Perceiving type doesn't like hard work... D;

  • @fotwunny Who would clean the island? =P

  • Hell yes, infps' are awesomee :D

  • the singer of Radiohead is INFP, right?

  • intj

  • I dunno, he reminds me of my brother, a intj.

    God I love Radiohead!

  • yipee!! we rock!

  • Lol i sometimes hate being an INFP and don't like sharing it because of people using it against me. Hate getting depressed at times but love alot how i can understand people and so forth. And love how strongly i can love someone.

  • I'm INFP too, good to know I'm not the only one who feels like this... =]

  • I'm an INFP. it sucks! depression, never feeling understood. you all know what I mean.

  • see a counselor or shrink. It helps. Hope you feel better buddy :)

  • right on, im an infp as well, did you know we are less than 1% of the population?

  • I'm one too. Go us!!

  • more like 20%, but that's still small.

for we are the Virgils of the world

  • it's 2-5%. 20% is impossible as there is 16 types of personalities in the first place.

  • Oh and INFPs are the best, and I am very greatful to be one. Any NPs are fine in my book though.

  • right on, im an infp as well, did you know we are less than 1% of the population?

  • I did, and I'm very proud of that.

  • What about the people who are half INFP and half ISFP?

  • I agree we are the best

  • My favs are NFPs and SP's (Artisans).

  • Is the song The Reckoner, by Radiohead, with the drums and vocals somehow silenced?

  • infps ARE some of the straight up coolest folks! I am an infp, wish I knew more of us

  • Very interesting. I have gotten infp on the test before - this was a litle more detailed in describing some aspects of the personality type though. I need to get a book on this or something. Any suggestions?

  • David Keirsey's book on all the types - Please Understand Me II

  • WHOA

I thought INFPs were INTROVERTED intuition, and EXTROVERTED feeling, not what they have up there (extroverted intuition and introverted feeling)

  • Nah, that's an INFJ. =)

  • forgot to mention the fact that infps are the absolute coolest people on earth

  • Thank you. I appreciate that cuz its tough being a male infp.

  • I second that x1000000000

  • I wish I knew a guy infp, sensitive, creative, maaaaybe a musician... :p

  • Lol, I posted that a long time ago before I learned I was an ISFP.

  • BAM, wish granted. :)

  • @Jonnygraham24 and the most vain?
