  • Sweet car man! What part of MA are you? Maybe I'll see it at a show sometime.

  • @RedneckRunninWFO I'm about 45 minutes south of Boston. That'd be great!!

  • Just like they used to say .. "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right." .. Great job. Beautiful car you got there.

  • Merry Christmas my friend

  • i would love to get a hold of one to build but fetting one is like trying to find gold in a corn field here in indiana

it has been my child hood dream to own a genearal lee but i can see i will never own one of my own

  • nice car i just got my self a 69 charger se id like ti get to gether all it takes is time money and a end less supply of bondo

    lol

  • can you add descriptions of what were looking at? its hard to tell at some points. Great car love the work!

  • so you bought it without looking at it? well I can't blame you if I had the chance I'd buy a 68 charger in a heartbeat just to have it sit in my yard.

  • Poor thing it had some cancer.....

  • Do you have a rotisarie. I guess that is how you spell it.

  • i read the whole story. Kudos to Chuck and the people that are the real craftsmen. i did bodywork for many years and can appreciate the work the "real " craftsmen put into this car. - never mind your life lesson. You are a better man than I - what goes around, comes around. I would have had my cousins Guido and Rocko pay this guy a visit - but he would be in a body bag. If his "explanation" has any merit , I hope he doesn't pull this again. Once you are sleeping with fish, all over!

  • Very awesome my friend! That is one of my dreams as well. Love that car

  • OMG YOU PUT THIS TO PATIENCE! my 2 two favorite things in the world General Lee and Guns N Roses

  • Am i understanding you correctly you purchased a car supposedly restored from this texas place and had to do all this after you got it?

  • your so lucky, dodge charger has always been my dream car.

  • @5150nick1 Since this video, the car has been injected and supercharged.. Pretty cool.

  • @5150nick1 yes, I do.

  • Mother f*cking sh*t, that is awesome

  • goes to show if u want anything done right u have to do it yourself.....great job on restoring the general...and thanks for keeping another piece of american history alive you could have just as easy took it to the crusher

  • nice car, i can see you tied up some money in that one, i got a 68 and a 70 i would like to get together.

  • @mcw731 Yeah, I do.. But, how do you put a price tag on a dream? It's all worth it, to me.

  • @JB666Vette good, the car is in good hands than

  • Man, has this car come along way sense I known it, the guys that did the body work and other stuff on it is very good and talented people. Talk about a car that made one heck of a turn around.

  • Great vid Jeff!

  • @ 4:53 What the hell was that all about?

  • @LcplHabon LOL , sorry bout that.. Just noticed that was in there! That's my buddy Chuck that painted the car and did most of the body work.

  • is this the real general lee if it is msg me and add me and is it the 1 that it was in the movie and dnt lie cuzz that movie was relly good and i like the car too

  • @matthew34ify Real General Lee? As in from the SHOW or the Movie?? Nope, neither, just one that was made from scratch.

  • She's beautiful, Clark! :)

  • jb.

You have more perseverance in your little finger than I do my whole body. The fact you stayed the course instead of throwing you arms in the air & walking away speaks highly of character.

We all should be so lucky to have Jon, Chuck & Blair to lean on.

Generals' like yours & KWS help to soften any haters' view of the cars they may have had, imo.

    Well done sir!!!

  • @rtmike Hey, thanks!!

  • DON'T JUMP THIS ONE!!!!!

  • where did you find the replacement parts and rmotor/tranny? Horror story turned into a happy ending. Amazing job, sir.

  • I wonder were the General lee in the TV series went was it crushed stored?

  • I would kill to have a general lee. Only problem is there are not alot of chargers here where I live which sucks. When I was in the states a few years back I saw tons. My buddies and I wanna take a little drive down from Canada and pick on up

  • sry then

  • @JB666Vette Not being rude question are u being a smart ass.

if u arent i am sorry. u have good taste in music to.

  • Take very good care of her man. After that much work, and getting screwed on top of it. You deserve to have her brother. almost brings a tear man. I showed my 69 the same love man. she can out run crotch rockets now. LONG LIVE THE 69 DODGE CHARGER!!!!!!

  • Are you serious? It was "restored" and then you had to RE restore it?! Holy shit... That picture at minute 1:15 is what scares the shit out me, and why I'm hesitant to buy "restored" and "repainted" cars, because of all of that nastiness underneath...

  • I May Be Australian But I Kill For A Car Like That.

  • @GohanDragonBallz123 Oh yeah.. Serious as a heart attack... It wasn't a good experience.

  • @JB666Vette Not being rude question are u being a smart ass.

if u arent i am sorry. u have good taste in music to.

  • @GohanDragonBallz123 Not being a smartass at all. It was not a fun experience.

  • @JB666Vette okay then great music and car build even if not good expereience.

  • i would hate to have that hapen tp me

  • if you saw the car in real life youd love it

  • great looking car

  • The true meaning of a mans love for his machine, you deserve to have what is probably the best example of the general I've ever seen, very impressive my friend.

  • @cptfunkstar Hey, thanks, I appreciate it...

And after all this, I brought the car to my buddy to tune it and adjust the tranny and discovered the BRAND NEW 472 Mopar Performance crate engine has problems. Rings, seals, etc... It's out of the car now being torn down. The silver lining? There's NOTHING left to go wrong.

  • @JB666Vette Man im sorry to hear that, but look at the positives, how many people do you think would give there right arm for your car, id trade my soul to the devil for it, knowing the level of dedication not to mention man hours and expense put into it, i hope you solve the problems soon and finally get to just drive her! She will love you forever. Good luck mate. Man.....she's just beautiful!

  • @JB666Vette dont push your luck with the general

  • so nice - it had to be done twice

  • Nice car and nice restoration!!! The people that sold you that 69 Dodge Charger are dicks because they just wonna get money. GOOD JOB Man!!!

  • dude that car is sweet, nice restoration!!! I feel so srry for you because those kind of people are dicks!! You put alot of money in that car and thats what makes it look even better than it did before. Its a nice car GOOD JOB

  • Hard work! sweet car, any car chase on?

  • Thanks!! No car chases yet.. Hopefully there won't be too many of those in my future!!

  • @JB666Vette

    Well done sir. Well done.

  • Good

  • Too be honest, you're better off having gone this route and getting it done right... I started with a full mediablasted shell and then a full resto before my General was built. I wish I could go back and get it done right, but that's how it goes. I am constantly nagged by the idea of starting over and re-restoring it localy, but I do my best to just not think about it and drive the car! Yours is most definately better finished than mine, and I spent $60k so far! Good job supervising that resto!
