Theoretically what he says is all true. But, for the Italy case, mr. B has been elected in a not democratic way, since in Italy there are 2 facts against the democratic principles: 1) the electoral system reduces to the minimum (more than indirect) the people role in determining their rulers 2) mr B holds the major part of media, both video and journals/newspapers and you know this goes against one of the requirements for a democracy (available of different informations sources (see Dahl, 1971))
