Kurt Cobain mentions Freddie in his suicide note saying something like this. That he wished he felt what Freddie felt on stage, and his love for his fans. @contrastej Keep going friend .sometimes life is tough but don't give up there is a job and a future out there for you. It may not be immediate but it is there. Freddie despite the ravages of AIDS (and his last few days were truly horrific-he broke his leg which snapped like a matchstick and painkillers were no longer working!) kept going until he dropped. He is an inspiration to us all . Don't forget that despite the bother on occasions, your daughters are a true blessing. So smile and look up!

That's what AIDS does to people. By the time he died, his face was very gaunt. I've seen people very close to my family go through the same thing back in the late 80s/early 90s. I remember how shocked my mom was when she saw how sick Freddie was in that last Queen video.
