R.I.P. Billy Taylor, and as WKCR brilliantly said "our jazz universe has just become exponentially smaller with the passing of Billy Taylor."

His memorial is being held in at Riverside Church in Harlem, NYC on January 10th. Hope he continues to play those ivories and ebonies wherever he might be.

@jjjdddgggmmm El dice que el Jz es musica propia de ese pais por que fue inventado allà. El jz es una Manera de tocar. Jz es compuesto por muchas clases dif. de estilos y sus musicos demuestran que conocen esos estilos. La percu/ y los espirituales como raices del jz.
