by boat is the best .you can see much more .there are not enough airstrips to see all of the exumas.;By boat you start up at allans cay and go down to staniel and there are many stops in between i can give you a list of them. if you would like

My husband and I are going to the Bahamas in May....what are the must do's and sees....he is a pilot...so I know we can fly there...but do you have to go to the Exumas by boat? Do you know of any reasonable charters...I love the idea of seeing it by boat...I love to snorkel! Do you have to be invited to go to Nygrad Cay....I think I have seen it on one of those E top beaches shows...Looks AMAZING! T

You want to charter a float plane and fly over Andros Island (especially the west is other worldly) and fly over Exuma. These are the two most beautiful areas in the Bahamas. They are also not crowded!
