Out of interest...how many megapixels was this image?

@s4189332 It was just a 2366 × 768 image. Rasturbation takes the image and samples it to make small (7mm in this case) points. From a distance it looks like a full image.

@Loathing75 The Rasterbator that we used did a minimum of 7mm pixels. Larger pixels makes the colors melt together a bit more (such as on the buildings where there is a lot of activity.

It's a really cool idea and it translates well into a physical concept too. But, in my opinion, I think you could have chosen a more interesting panorama image aside from a generic city skyline.

@willsultan Well it's Boston, which is where we live, and it still looks pretty sweet. We wanted something with a lot of color, and not just black emptiness. It looks pretty sweet contrasting our windows of the city on the other side.
