Meh. Of course she beat him. Boring. And all her teachers flirt with her. Boring. As much as I am annoyed when characters are screwups, it's not interesting when they are too perfect either. That said, it's only one 3 minute ep, so, no lasting harm done.

Also, for what it's worth, adult Nate is way hotter than teenage Nate in my book.

I love that she fences, although it's hard to teach good fencing in a hurry for a 30 second scene.

I'm surprised how deep this is going into Nate's history. The college Nate is so buoyant and smiling, whereas the Nate we've seen is so dark and incredibly cynical, I hope we get to see the transformational event in her character. Seeing her portrayed as such an optimist in college really makes the Pink we know more poignant. She didn't really chose her profession, and we see that she once had hope, which still survives in her desire to have kids. She's a deeper character than I thought.
