My My, didn't FRANKIE VALLI and the FOUR SEASONS ever cross your mind to explain this singing. Just to degrade someones opinion on this sound isn't really called for. I am sure the BEE GEES and FOUR SEASONS don't give a rats ass. They are TOO SUCCESSFUL pleasing everyone else who love their sound!

Great band, pure originality, and great music. What other band has reinvented itself three times over its career? None. These guys were (are) talented to the extreme. What a shame Maurice died.

All those who've said this is a load of crap should take a look at the 1979 version when Barry's voice was at it's peak. It's not the most ordinary way to sing a song but that's how the Bee Gees did their thing.
And why resort to nastiness when commenting? Fine, give your opinion but please, a bit of humanity and empathy. We all have varying tastes in all things. Especially music it would appear.

Not the same Bee Gees. He voice does not have the high pitch that he used to have. The older version is better. The scream at 1:47 is not the same. Much shorter and weaker.

This was at the end of a several hour-long concert. It's simply not fair to compare and contrast specific pieces of a live performance from a studio version of 18 years before.
