I bet she was kissing those parents ass left and right to get them to say that. If she had told my daughter I'd be in the military for another 100 years, my daughter would have laughed out loud. But this little girl wasn't laughing, she had a scared look on her face when the teacher told her that. By the way,,,I hope this teacher, doesn't teach math.

Man, you just don't get it. It's not just about your daughter, it's about ALL our children and putting them in an uncomfortable position that threatens their development. It's not about people twisting this incident for their agenda. It's about setting our children up for success and leadership - teaching them to think for themselves. You may consider family support and their assessment of how she may have been adversely impacted. Support is provided to our families for a reason.

Public school system or not, it is never acceptable to say "Oh Jesus!" or "Oh Lord!" in the classroom. It is offensive and threatening; counterproductive to stimulating an honest conversation or debate.

Over 600,000 individuals died for America! Whether for her creation, ideals, or freedoms, those deaths should not be treated lightly.Voting is a right of freedom, a duty, & an honor; it should be done responsibly. Voting for someone because they are white, black, man, woman,or any other cockamamie reason is never a good answer!Voting on principles, character, track records, to seek fact from fiction, cut through opinionated bias, formulate an opinion, & vote accordingly is what needs instilled.

Clearly our teaching standards have hit an all time low. Anyone can watch the video and understand why our Public Schools are failing. It exemplifies one of the biggest contributing factors to what is wrong with our education system.

The video is a classic example of someone telling children what to think, as opposed to teaching them how to think for themselves. The purpose of education is to inspire and foster our children; to encourage free thought, stimulate debate, & generate new ideas.

Hearing "that's a good answer too" when a student said he would vote for Barack because he wanted a black president, made me want to regurgitate. Dr. King did not fight for one man to be chosen over another because of his race. He fought for equality. He dreamt of a world where his children would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.  Ms. Harris showed her her students that it's a good idea to vote for someone because of their looks.
