u cant get into programmer + designer island cause blizz took the maps out of the game so u need to install them from teh internet =P

Hi, the prob why you cant get into programmer island is that you miss Patch-3.MPQ go google and DL it and place it in your "Data" folder

The reason u get a WoW Error when u got to Designer/ Programmers Isle is cuz it got removed in 2.3.3

As stated below, programmer's and designer's island was removed from the game in 2.2.0, however, you can still reach the place by putting a few MPQ files into your wow/data folder. /msg me about em in case you want em.

there isnt a way GM island is a completely different island like outlands is an island and kalimdor etc. there for it is unreachable without being portaled there or summon etc.

Theres no npc's there the place is very bare it's jsut a castle nothing to see really depressing actually, when u see the huge road leading to it your so excited happy and than when u get there u have the feeling of, this is it, wow.

The Programmer Isle is 451 16303.5 -16173.5 40.4365 But i don't think it works ;-P

the "strange building area" is actually the deadmines secret in VC, an exploit nerfed before TBC. You could soulstone res through the end portal, or as a mage blink through teh beginning portal. Then you could jsut slowfall into an "ocean" and swim up untill you were on land. Then you'd jsut run untill you saw what you put in the video.

Programmers/Designers Island was removed from the game several patches ago. Therefore, you cannot go there. However, you can use Navicat to edit a few things so that it will be there again.
