Hey thanks for the questions:

Okay, so yes I am using the pedals in that song! Most songs don't include the pedal sign in the sheet (too much hassle?) but lots of people just add them in to make the song "blend together." If you want to try it, usually lift off the pedal per pause or per 4 counts.

Oh and my piano (it's a baby grand) cost my mom (thank goodness) about $7,000.
