i will always love the cribs but i gotta say i preferred their original version of this song well the original sound specifically..although the lyrics are the same i dont feel the passion they use to have this is more of a clean cut "nice" version but the other one had more feeling when it was just the three bros...I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST MARR

i love their new album and i love johnny marr and i love the cribs with johnny marr but this song sounded better live without him.

In my own opinion, this song was better with only one guitar. Ryan's guitar sounds way too noisy now.

Marr sounds alright live playing on the new album, but it sounds so much better with just the brothers playing their old songs live

@ArniePyeInTheSky I believe it was the bassist in this song who ran into marr in washington and both musicians were fans of each others music. They all jammed quite a few times before they had any idea of adding marr. And as a side note alot of fans are upset because they think he is changing the band too much. They new album does sound different i will admit from their earlier work. what with more interesting song progressions

@ArniePyeInTheSky Interesting, because other Cribs-fans seem to hate Marr a lot BECAUSE of the change in sound. I agree, he doesn't add much to the old tunes, but The Cribs could've never made the newest album without Marr, so there is some change in sound I guess.
