@slimturnpike I agree. He really missed the almost prophetic 2011 essence of 'Guns In The Sky.' INXS nailed the modern-day Western Civilization malaise that drowns America then, and more so, to this day. That particular song sums it up perfectly; the current state of things; and the genius is in its 'direct hit.' Captures perfectly the simple, snappy, disposable tone of the day. Like Beck would. Its sad to see Beck swing and miss, or swing and be bored. Too much can drown the good stuff.
@slimturnpike it's not an aweful cover though...you've got to admit, Beck does a nice job with whatever he does. Now, that's not to say that this is as good as the original...in fact this version would work best in a jazz type setting rather than a more rock type setting such was the original.
