  • Cool car but I think if you ask most people or mustang owners they would say the only cars that are worth the boss name were the 69-70 and the 2011. Maybe if the styling was a little more tasteful this car wouldn't have so many haters.

  • what a fucking beast, sounds like a fucking dragon during the revs lol.

i'd take this monster over a shitty chevy with a nascar engine any damn day.

    Mustangs for the fucking win.

    nuff said

  • 855 bhp @ 6200 rpm

    790 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm

    10.0l Boss Shinoda 1994

  • Over 700hp & over 800tq all motor SEFI. Its a SEMI-HEMI mountain motor which is very hard to come by.. If u watch the special on it they had to drive over 200 miles to get new rods n rocker arms on race day. Even wit it damaged internally it still whooped on the 572 camaro

  • It has a Ford motor in it, it was a Ford project that involved Larry Shinoda/John Coletti so it is a Ford Boss Mustang. The project got scrapped by Ford, Larry Shinoda/Shinoda Design Associates began building Boss Shinoda Mustangs (the company is now Shinoda Performance Vehicles and still produces the Boss Shinodas even though sadly Larry passed away in 97) and the car in this video is now part of the Roush collection (owned by Jack Roush).

  • is there anywhere that sales the engine from this car

  • i wish, but there is a company remaking boss engines, look up Jon Kaase boss

  • was a big ford. around 598 or 604 inches. based loosely on the boss 429

  • stroked to 604 from an engine that ford DOES produce. its a 10L (v8 obviously) that does 0-60 in 1.6 seconds. fuck anyone that calls this car anything but a real boss.

  • 1.9* sec 0-60

  • @jasonbc69 I wouldn't say "loosely". I'd say Mostly. It started life as a NOS BOSS 429 engine. They bored and stroked to make it 604 ci. They took the intake off of a Lincoln motor and modded it to fit. It's a pure beast. If GOD himself was to build a motor for a performance car, it would be either this or a 427 SOHC with Twin Paxtons (what I'm eventually put in my 64 Galaxie).

  • thats not a boss so dont title the video boss mustang, only the 69-70 are allowed

  • Comment removed

  • @epluribusunom Sorry, but Larry Shinoda came up with the BOSS name. He was involved in the project to make this car. He has the rights to the BOSS name. And you're also forgetting the 1971 BOSS 351. Educate yourself before acting like you know it all.

  • @390galaxie I understand that it really is a BOSS, my point was that its fucken gay. Only the 69-70 are true BOSS mustangs everything else was just a mustang with a hockey stick on the side. So please stfu, thank you

  • @epluribusunom While I will agree with you that there is almost nothing more bad fucking ass than a 1969-1970 Boss 302 or 429, there are still Bosses, such as this one. Yeah, this car doesn't have the classic lines of the 60s, but it has the most important thing from that era- Ford's big block power. This car is 100% bad ass. The dyno confirms.

  • @390galaxie I'll agree with you on that man.

  • @390galaxie Actually, this car is a prototype that Ford built. It has a fuel injected Boss 429 engine in it, bored and stroked to 604 cubic inches. Google "Boss 604" for more information. I was fortunate enough to have ridden in this car, matter of fact that is Steve Anderson, a close friend of mine, driving it in the video. The car is now owned by Jack Roush.

  • @390galaxie my ears confirm

  • @390galaxie 100% correct.

  • lol

  • If it was built, or built as supervised by John Coletti, it was most certainly a Ford mill.

  • I have the original article from Motor Trend on this car from years ago. The writer said this car churned the coffee in his stomach and it felt like the car was spinning the earth around or shifting the earths crust LMAO. Something weird like that. BUT, it is not the Shinoda BOSS as stated below. It is the COLLETTI BOSS 10.0. I have the original article, my friend and I bought the Motor Trend right off the rack at a local convenience store back in the mid-90's.

  • I wish u could buy the engine

  • sounds awesome

  • i have a 95 boss that looks exactly like that, best damn car iv ever had

  • i agree with sn98gt, i have an article about this same boss, and explains how it was fitted with a 427, than a 604 to take down MOSS's 571 camaro. I would give anything for a mustang like that.

  • hahahahhaha fuck 90's

  • sounds beastly

  • ok everyone its called a BOSS SHINODA not a "10 liter boss" and its rediculously rare....learn your facts people

  • You are right, it is a Boss Shinoda, Larry Shinoda (the designer of the original Boss Mustangs) was brought in to design the asthetics of this Mustang supercar, as he owned the rights to the Boss name. After that, he began the Boss SHinoda program. The cars are extremely rare, so far there are around 100 of them (I have two, one 1994 model, and one that is actually the last car Larry personally built before he died. This Boss, however, is the only one with a 10L 604cid V8 based off a 429.

  • Both are correct. It is called the 604 or 10L Boss because it has a 429 V8 bored and stroked to 604 cubes. Awesome car! 0-60 in 1.9 seconds! You are right though, it is a Boss Shinoda.

  • I remember this shootout the mustang actually set the road on fire it waz turning the tires so hard great vid.

  • That sounds just like my car!!

  • this car is wicked. But it must waste a hella lot of gas. Oh well id still take it

  • its true... coletti (ford) and Moss (chevy) both built up cars to compete against each other, moss built a mid 90's camaro with a 572 in it and colleti built the boss mustang you see here, it has a 10L motor in it.

do a search on coletti and boss mustang, you'll find it

  • Can anyone confirm whether this is the boss 10-litre? About 1995 Ford SVO put a 10 litre (about 612 cubes)unit in a Mustang, and the car wore these colours, but I guess this could just be wishful thinking, since I've never seen video of it anywhere.

  • oh wow....need to favorite this

  • has a 10 liter in it!!!!

  • no it doesnt

  • YES, it does. This car was built by Ford and it has a 10 liter engine. Do some research.

  • that sound on the 302 1970 boss in my hands would end the world with sexiness

  • do you know the exhaust set-up and the cam he has?
