Look. Read about this poet "Hasan al-Khayer (died 1980) (Arabic حسن الخيّر) " He is from Quordaha. You can find about hin "wikipedia".. Also, read about "Mohamed Omran" he was an Alwite officer who fled to Lebanon in the 70th and they Syrian Intellegance killed him.

My parents lived through it and witnessed how those terrorists bombed the public and assassinated respected civilian individuals in universities, hospitals, and their homes. My friend, al ekhwan were part of the people, IF they broke the law and did murders and explosions they deserve to be trailed , this is how a respected government would have acted, in Britain the northern irish did many explosions in the country but the British government didnt bomb Ireland,they negotiated and they have reached a settlement, tell me what is the difference between Israel and Assad regime ? Look. Read about this poet "Hasan al-Khayer (died 1980) (Arabic حسن الخيّر) " He is from Quordaha. You can find about hin "wikipedia".. Also, read about "Mohamed Omran" he was an Alwite officer who fled to Lebanon in the 70th and they Syrian Intellegance killed him.

There are some good Alwaites too. Some of them, they have been imprisoned and even killed by the regime. There is one poet even from "Kurda" that dispeared in the 80th because he wrote aganist the "hama" thing.

I did not say that you were too to do bad deeds. We are just exchanging information here. It might be useful to both of us. Yes, what they are doing is wrong. I hope for "change" of regime. I would like to have a democratic regime and to ope the economy so that we can prosper and advance, but I hope if this happens that it will smooth. It will not be good if become another Iraq. The sin of dictatorship is greater than all the good any leader can do. Think of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, BouMedien, Saddam, Nasser, the Assads.
If a leader confiscates freedom of speech, he is an enemy of the people, no matter what. Unfortunately, many, may be the majority of Arabs, think of themselves as sheep to be led by a shephered. The government has to provide for them shelter and grass.
Like Hussain, the Assads are dictators, but it is the fault of the sheep who allowed them to be.
