  • the 2:18 one is like an underwater forest! o.o

  • cool! i like 2:18 alot =)

  • 1:49 is amazing!

  • lol I guess there are over 60 neontetras

  • tank at 116 would be great for angels

  • The last tank is amazing ~

  • my pair of convict cichlids uprooted most of my plants

  • yeh cichlids do that quite a bit. I only can keep plants in my tropical tank:D

  • I hope they vere convicted for that crime.

  • some of these tanks could use clearer eater but the aquascaping is very nice. too much work to maintain the damn thing, plus its not for fish. its like the other way around for fish keepers. its plantkeepers that use fish as the decoration.

  • my tank can never be so nice....

  • does anyone else here know how to get rid of the organic filmy buildup on the surface of planted aquariums? besides using those crappy surface skimmers u attach to ur canister filter. they're not reliable. is there a fish that finds it appetizing maybe?

  • at 1:45 i thought that was a moon in the background lol

  • same :D

  • I wish I could get my tank to look like that

  • if i didn't have my own aquarium, i would think nothing of these tanks.

  • yea people dont know the time deidicated to maintaining such beautiful tanks

  • dwarf hairgrass or hc

  • what is the name of the grass-like plant?

  • Hairgrass, I believe.

  • I really loved tank number one, two, five ans the one at 2:21

but the tank at 1:07, i didn't really find it appealing...lol

anyway, those tanks are beautiful i hope to get mine looking like that someday

  • Wow! So beautiful!.. I dream to have the same once, but such kinds of gras are very expensive in Ukraine. I have usual and it grows too fast.

  • how do you keep the tank so clean

  • you get a filter. =)

  • Some of those tanks scared me.

  • How did you guys get those little plants on the gravels?

  • some of those tanks shoulndnt even be there v some of tyhem r horrible

  • some of those tanks are so ugly but

  • relly nice tanks they are beutyful

  • they're cardinal tetras (not neons), just thought i'd throw that out there

  • Awesome :)

  • Its not very common to see larger fish in planted tanks?

  • they make the plants look small and take focus away from them

  • how th fuk do u count all the neons i had 18 neons at one point and struggled counting them each day to make sure they hadnt dissapeared

  • dang 1:00 is alot of friggen neons

  • These tanks suck, really. Xcept the last one.

  • i love this vid

  • how do you clean the gravel with a planted tank?

  • u can except that its not as necessary as a non-planted tank to gravel vac. plants use the stuff in the substrate like fertilizer. planted aquariums only require water changes, good CO2, and good lighting.

  • how do you get the grass to spread and what CO2 system do you use? cheers

  • Can anybody tell me wether my lighting is good enough for my plants. i have a 20 gallon with a total of about 19 to 20 watts lighting flourecant full hood. i want some low lighting plants like anacharis, java moss, java ferns, anubias, some amazon swords if possible. and i would like to know if they can be planted in pool filter sand or sand. and i would also want to know if i still need to fertilze them.i dont want to use co2 because i cant afford it plese help!thanks.(ANYBODY PLEASE RESPOND)

  • I am not an expert but the lighting seems fine. You can put some plants like java fern, java moss, and anubias. Those plants are very easy to take care of. They can live with out Co2 and fertilizers would help. You don't need any sand or gravel. Just tie them to rocks, wood, etc with a piece of string.

  • thx a billion!

  • you need 2 watts per gallon.

  • u dont really need that much, because those low light plants wont use so much of tat and it would become algae food, especially BBA on the anubias. just rmb to clear dead leaves often from the jave fern lol. if u use 2wpg, maybe put nana in shadier area of ur tank. and yep the above mentioned rooted plants shouldn't have its root totally sunk in sand, must tie on wood or stone.

  • I'm a beginner as well but I was successful using the Do-It-Yourself CO2 system. You can find tons of info about it in the net. Now I'm very happy with my plants. They're thriving! Good luck! :)

  • i realize im a little late on the response maybe its been answered already. but pool sand and sand are silica mostly. you will need to fertilize with them. amazon swords SUCK nutrients and light. you will need at least 35-40 watts to grow much in there. a CHEAP co2 set up is a D.I.Y yeast reactor on an air stone. Google D.I.Y co2 yeast. (fertilize regularly) - hope that helps mate.

  • lol like a billion neon tetras in the first 1

  • Do you think you'd be able to copy the beauty and calmness of these tanks with fake plants?

  • OMG!! the one at 1:45 is soooo sweetttt!!!!!! very nice vids. i say these are the most beautiful planted tanks i have seen on youtube!

  • Now those are freshwater tanks! Those fish must be so happy in there. Damn I wish I could've gone to that event.

  • the one at 2:00 is great

  • Oh yah, thats great!

  • look for more at : cms taktım

    in youtube

  • my GOD you got the most amazing tank in YouTUBE GOOD JOB

  • Wow, some awesome aquascaping in those tanks.

  • One of the tank at 2.32 looks... incredible

  • how do u enter aquarama?

  • those are some nice tanks :D

  • the first footage is my favorite, with the Rasboras and the rocks and the plants it reminds of a tropical jungle. Great job who created the video!

  • Any advice on setting up a discus tank with similar effects. Filter,co2,Substrate

  • get a relly tall tank with an undergravel filter and tall ornaments that they can get into

  • Thanks. Yes, the original video footage is very sharp, but all of the detail seems to have been lost when YouTube compressed it. You can see the pin-sharp pictures of these tanks in a future issue of Practical Fishkeeping magazine. There are also one or two shots on the Practical Fishkeeping website as part of our live coverage from Aquarama.

  • Thanks. Incredible!

To bad with the horrible quality on youtube though =/
