I saw an interview with Bono from U2 and he was asked if there was a band he would not like to follow onto stage live and he said yep "The Who". A week later a saw them live they were by far the best I have ever seen adn they are/were in their 60's. they played like a steamtrain for the first 20 minutes without a BREATH . then said. "that was the warm up track lets get into it and proceeded to shred for 3 hours! I have no idea what well Daltrey drinks out of but I wish i could find it.
@telebruel pearl jam and van halen are massive who fans, they modelled themselves after them. however, to me, the who are definately legends who have lost a step. this is weak and theyre superbowl appearance was forgetable.
Face Dances, as Pete and Roge put it, the album that should never have been made. Mind you this is a classic track. They want to re-record the album with the present band, including Zac on drums. It's certain that although with The Small Faces he was a good drummer, he just didn't get The Who, and Pete acknowledges that.
I thought the same as Chazman80 and Before The Noose, but the longer I watched, the better it was to see them. These guys (with Keith and John)changed the world when they came to Woodstock.
I agree that there was/is SOME good music from America, but most of the best bands of all time, all come from England: The Who, Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zep, Deep Purple, The Jam, The Beatles ECT
But then again i think these days countries like Sweden and finland make awesome music. I mean Opeth have pretty much made one of the greatest albums ever.
The list is endless! every famous band from england has been frekin amaizing! i have at least 20 songs from all of the british bands named in other comments

Fair enough, his voice isn't quite what it used to be, but Roger CAN still sing, and it still sounds great as far as I'm concerned. I really enjoy the performance.
I love the vocals on this song. Pete and Roger look very fit and sexy although I would like to see Roger lose the specs and Pete darken his hair up some.
with open arms...(and open legs) xD

Daltrey (singer) is actually older than Townshend (guit). Who could guess Daltrey is around 60 at the time of this vid?
He looks like 15 yrs younger than Townshend.
Guess who got the surgery, lol

I hate the fact that all the bands I like are either dead, or old.
Still, they sound great, and Roger Daltrey has the greatest voice I've ever heard.
Hooray.
