  • with open arms...(and open legs) xD

  • one of the best bands ever

  • Are they playing this in a lower key than the original?

  • this song was definatly a highlight when they played it in melbourne in 2009

  • I saw an interview with Bono from U2 and he was asked if there was a band he would not like to follow onto stage live and he said yep "The Who". A week later a saw them live they were by far the best I have ever seen adn they are/were in their 60's. they played like a steamtrain for the first 20 minutes without a BREATH . then said. "that was the warm up track lets get into it and proceeded to shred for 3 hours! I have no idea what well Daltrey drinks out of but I wish i could find it.

  • @telebruel pearl jam and van halen are massive who fans, they modelled themselves after them. however, to me, the who are definately legends who have lost a step. this is weak and theyre superbowl appearance was forgetable.

  • great quality ty:)

  • Daltrey (singer) is actually older than Townshend (guit). Who could guess Daltrey is around 60 at the time of this vid?

He looks like 15 yrs younger than Townshend.

Guess who got the surgery, lol

  • sad version

  • love the red strat

  • outro fã brasileiro, mas do Paraná, realmente fantastico, e essa acredito que seja uma de minhas musicas preferidas entre todas as banda.

  • Is that Zac Starkey on drums there?

  • It is! Great drummer I must say!

  • @smncameron Yes it is, he's also Ringo Starr's son

  • O the who é 1000....Um fã de Brasilia-Brasil.

  • Veterans are veterans! No need for more to say,

  • who plays the bass guitar now

  • who cares?the ox is gone

  • pino palladino, awsome player

  • Face Dances, as Pete and Roge put it, the album that should never have been made. Mind you this is a classic track. They want to re-record the album with the present band, including Zac on drums. It's certain that although with The Small Faces he was a good drummer, he just didn't get The Who, and Pete acknowledges that.

  • Wow!

    The Who is amazing.

  • @jratwub Check out this band, SUPERLUNGS, who I saw playing a gig with Roger Daltrey! On Brighton Seafront! They are amazing!

    /watch?v=xwKewjd1DD4&feature=related

  • NO THEY DIDN'T!!! T-Rex formed in the '70's, the Who in the '60s.

  • this is my favorite song by the who and the who is my favorite band i saw them in salt lake in there 2006 tour they rocked

  • Impresionante!!!....No Hay nada mejor que en vivo :)

    Larga vida A Pete y Roger !!

  • Classic duo!

  • He sings the line "The sound of old T-Rex".

  • They were an English Rock band in the 70s that did "Hot love". Mark Bolan was the lead singer.

  • @hunterthegolden i would say most famous song is bang a gong, wouldn't you?

  • And Who's Next...

    love the third person references

  • what does he mean by"sign of old t-rex"?

  • I hated the time when Pete was forced to play the acoustic guitar due his hearing problem. Thank God it's electric again!

  • Still the best!

  • I do miss Keith and John-but these old men can still rock-no doubt about it. BUT-yes John drove it with that signature bass.

  • I thought the same as Chazman80 and Before The Noose, but the longer I watched, the better it was to see them. These guys (with Keith and John)changed the world when they came to Woodstock.

  • WITHOUT JOHN

  • Fuck this is painful, they had to go on tour after the bass player died and I can see, the CONTRACT , people should have let them, ,off....

Just wrong to force them top do this, how fucking wrong , they were lost with him.

  • DAMMIT!!! I miss Keith :'(

  • He was a great drummer

  • Hey we here in America...know this band...you better, you better....YOU BET!

  • Any americans watching, this is proper music. The who are best.

  • The Who are quality and i'm not American, but some well good music has come from America as well, such as lynyrd skynyrd, GnR and Aerosmith.

  • I agree that there was/is SOME good music from America, but most of the best bands of all time, all come from England: The Who, Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zep, Deep Purple, The Jam, The Beatles ECT

  • You're forgetting Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. as well.

  • and Pink Floyd and Genesis and Cream

    The list is endless

  • But then again i think these days countries like Sweden and finland make awesome music. I mean Opeth have pretty much made one of the greatest albums ever.

  • The list is endless! every famous band from england has been frekin amaizing! i have at least 20 songs from all of the british bands named in other comments

  • Richard is Ringo's' real name. He's not one of my favorite drummers, but Zak Starkey his son is my hero and I want for fans of the who and rock to notice his talent

  • Rog still has the pipes and Pete's business as usual with the guitar

  • HIS NAMES ZAK NOT RICHARD.

  • That's Richard Starkey — son of Ringo — on the kit.

  • @ballardlesemann That's Zak Starkey,Richard Starkey is Ringo Starr's real name.

  • Who was the drummer for this concert?

  • I hate the fact that all the bands I like are either dead, or old.

Still, they sound great, and Roger Daltrey has the greatest voice I've ever heard.

    Hooray.

  • I'm 16 years old and I think The Who sounds better than any of those younger bands! Long Live Rock!!!

  • The crowd looks like they were coming to see London Symphony Orchesta and all ended at a Who concert. The band still rocks!

  • Fair enough, his voice isn't quite what it used to be, but Roger CAN still sing, and it still sounds great as far as I'm concerned. I really enjoy the performance.

  • They have "lost a step" as they say about atheletes, but I still think they are damn good, and I'll take any chance I can get to go see them.

  • Were you in Metz for this show ? I was there !

  • I've always loved The Who. Time to give it up guys. Compare the voices to 20 years ago.

  • well obviously they wont sound like they did when they were 21 but they still sound damn good.

  • let's see how we all sound when we're their age, plus I think they sound pretty damn good especially since they're not exactly young anymore

  • This man is 62 years old, and what a voice!

  • I love the vocals on this song. Pete and Roger look very fit and sexy although I would like to see Roger lose the specs and Pete darken his hair up some.
