  • we are just making our bosses richer while we get nothing and stay in the same place while they keep on rising. maybe is because they dont want to pay us what we should get payd for what to do because this economy is so damn bad and are scare that someboy else is willing to take your job with less pay anb bosses always say this fuck!!! i whant to go back to the 90's pay was better

  • i love my career just i hate my fucking shit boss

  • I have a job and Im only 14. I am in the catering business and I stress like crazy when I am pre-paring food I want to go into Retail. I just started basically 3 weeks ago. Should I quit? PLEASE REPLY ASAP!

  • @Laurencooper97 yes.

  • @Laurencooper97 Everybody quits there first job that's what i told my boss the day i quit. I was fifteen and i was a month in. You shouldn't have to deal with stress at such an early age.

  • in my job I dont get a lunch break I work from 7:30 am until 4 pm with NOOOOOOOOOOO breaks

the pay check isnt that good but It made a different in my life. My boss always complain about my work although ALOT of the clients actually told me that they love me, I work in a children's center & parents always complain about my co-workers not me (maybe a couple of times but I made a great come back).

but still my boss loves her friend who says bad things about me =_="

    should I quit???

  • @MIMIandKIRUA so is your boss from the middle east?? ive worked for middle easterns and the didnt pay me over time nor gave me breaks and the altered my hours so they payed me less until i sue them after 6 years but i only collected for 3 cuz the statue of limitations

  • I current job isn't going well. Just in the few weeks on the job I felt that is not the right job for me. Very demanding boss and every thing I do is not enough. I am currently planing on quitting this job, but I am worried that it would effect my future interview and recommendation letter. What should I do, I'm at lost here.

  • here's a great tip when its time to move on... one of the biggest clue is when your in the shower and your getting ready and you start to vomit, your stomach is twisting and turning and you're just in stress mode, it starts on sunday night and you're just not motivated to be in that work place dealing with unmanageable people.that's when you know its time to move on..but if you know you can't afford to quit your job, then try to focus on your duties and ask the Lord to guide you through the day

  • Job is a Modern day slavery

  • @Junktiques4u Hell yeah.

  • Never, Never, Never quit your job before lining something up and never, never, never wait to get laid-off/ fired to go on unemployment before looking for a new job! Bad advice. As soon as you quit your job or go on unemployment, you lose all your salary negotiation leverage for the next job. Don't be lazy people. Look for the new job while you have the old one. You will make thousand of dollars more in pay over your lifetime.

  • I see some silly nonsense comments here :-( Then there are some good ones, anyway, another nice vid from the Howdini!! Unfortunately, I only quit about 2 jobs, I was let go from all the other ones...lol!! I figured out that I'm not an employee, people who have to work a job don't like people who're not in "charge" to have strong personalities when not in that "position"! Least now I understand how a job works....

  • Here's some advice always work for your self.

  • you know something, sometimes you just have to quit no matter what, try working around some one who stinks like they dont wipe there ass or shower every day . and HR wont do a god damn thing, and yes more then me has complained, HR talked to 6 people , so ya quitting is a great thing.

  • @xTheDeathSaintx so true.......tomorrow is the day i quit

  • @xTheDeathSaintx Good one.

  • this girl reminds me of my boss, always talking about "whats right" FUCK HER! and fuck bosses, fuck them all, I'm quitting my job tomorrow, i prefer to boy cloths and food at a flea market or grow them myself than staying in that fucktard job, and by the way, I´m a telemarketer and telemarketing FUCKING SUCK!

  • @AlphaAunt She does sound like a bos... She acts like useing job computer or internet to look for another job is cheating, but then she says you shouldn't quit your job to find another one because it makes it hard to find a new job, obviously she has no idea what its like to job search when you get off work, she seems out of touch with everyday employees

  • Fuck your job. I've had plenty in my life and I always knew when to get a better job. It is FEAR that makes people stay in a lousy job. Remember that being in a lousy job is like being in a rut and a rut is a long thin grave.

  • Hey some great advice here!

I m having difficulties on whether or not I should resign my job or not. My boss, the manager, and even the owner of the company really like me as a worker but I dread coming to work each day because I have just grown tired of it. Now, upper-management has decided to increase pay, and also provide me with an opportunity to join them. I don't want to.

How do I resign without pissing them off? They have done so much for me, but I can't work anymore...

  • how do you get a "life purpose and career" job, where you sit down and say common sense things everyone already knows.

  • Thank you. This really helped me.

  • I want to see this career consultant girl get hit with a huge whip cream pie on youtube so bad

  • My supervisor keeps adding hours to my schedule as it is...can I ever find my dream job?! AHHHHH!

  • quitting my job tonight

  • quit my job a few weeks ago. man, I'm glad I did. And for more reason than simply because it was a crappy job. The manager was corrupt, couldn't make critical decisions, was sexist, sometimes wouldn't pay us on time. he was paranoid all the time, mainly because of all the coke he did while sitting in the back.

He would order us around, saying we're not doing anything, then go sit in his office. (doing more coke probably).

  • @ZeeFBI Im totally in the same situation, except the coke thing lol, i got a phone contract to pay though and idk if i can jus quit my job and not have one and hope i find something, any advice?

  • @TheOneBailey Quitting your job if you put aside all your worries and do it can be liberating. Things may change, but this is only due to what you have grown used to working. When you work, you can pay for many things you didn't have before. Many of these things are non-crucial, only we forget that once we take them for granted. Things like internet, a cell phone, perhaps a car, or at least gas to get you everywhere you could think of going.

  • @TheOneBailey (part 2) you do what you can. Use what money you have to cover what you need. Cut financial burdens that are perhaps not as crucial. Go out less. Minimize your cost of life. Also, when you are free of work related issues and able to level with your friends and comrades, things have a way of coming together. It's just a natural thing. You have to leave your worries though; you have to throw them aside and not concern yourself with other peoples' burdens. You are your own person.

  • @TheOneBailey (part3) as an example, I once worked at Jiffy Lube as a "Courtesy Tech", a ridiculous title made to make washing windows and vacuuming carpets seem a professional occupation. I've worked for Jiffy Lube a few times, and people that work there tend to be more machismo type muscles over mind, cars and girls types. Not everyone, but 75% or so. I'm not like them. I think girls should be respected as they are, and I don't think displaying physical strength is a useful attribute.

  • @TheOneBailey (part4) I never did well in that job really. There were cool individuals, though everyone else and the people that ran the company didn't make for a great environment. Myself not being too heavily into cars and more methodical than "grab and pull", I was more of an outsider, and didn't always enjoy the job. One day I decided to change store locations. The regional manager gave the ok, but then when I went to the other store I found they didn't anyone.

  • @TheOneBailey (part5) Coming back to my store, I was told I was fired. So right there I left and went straight to a local movie theatre, a place I went to often and who had many good individuals working. I asked for a job, it didn't pay much, but they said if I wanted it I could have it. I took, and I continued to work there for almost three years, first job I stuck with for than a year or so. I was happy, and loved my job. It was the best job I've ever held.

  • @TheOneBailey (part6) To sum up, in a perfect world everything would be done by the books and all. I feel, however, that at times if you don't chuck the things that bother you once and for all, together, you'll never get anywhere. You'll forever be burdened and will never be happy. Do it all at once, BAM, and you will be free.

  • @Funnysoundsystem i work at mcdonalds and they dont understand that. i constantly tell my management that i am tired and they say me too. that does not help me.

  • according to this, i should quit the job.

but then again, according to this, almost everyone should quit their jobs.

  • I hope no one is taking advice from this lady. She clearly does not know what she is talking about. What she is saying maybe true for one specific industry, but are not good practices in many others.

Most notably, YES you should be a master of SOMETHING. If you are not, then you are replaceable, and the jobs you will be able to find will tend to be in the lower salary range. Also as someone else commented on, you should never leave a job without having another opportunity signed.

  • If you don't like your job, LEAVE!!!!

  • @ZeeFBI I did today O.o

  • Don't be a dumb ass... procure a new job before you leave your current one.

Someone that just leaves w/o any guaranteed position to walk straight into is either not paying any bills or not bringing enough to the financial plate to worry about it anyway.

Best way to quit a job:

    1. Get your name out there! Network!

    2. Find a good company as a result and sign on the dotted lines with them.

    3. Take your two weeks vacation, or V time left as your notice, then leave.

    Don't be a DUMB ASS!!!

  • @ddancer2009 fuck that shit quit ur job than worry about it later...

  • Comment removed

  • @kylecorreia yeah... we all don't live with our parents dumb ass.

  • @ddancer2009 i dont live with my parents i take care of myself but iam not such a loser that i cant quit a job and not find another in a cpl days

  • @kylecorreia grunt jobs are easy to come by. keep up the good work.

  • i don't do grunt work. i actually own three very successful websites that provide me with a great life

  • it should be ok to quit the job... recruiters are wrong in their assumption that you are damaged good ... you may be the most intelligent, best candidate they can only dream about

  • BULLSHIT

  • One day, after working for 47 straight hours without a break, I saw a bright light and heard dead relatives beckon. Fortunately, the janitor knew CPR. (Of course, I would have been vastly happier to survive if he'd gone a little easier on the garlic and onions.)

I once worked five days, without food or sleep, on a report. I had a mental block until the fourth day, when an Incan monkey god came to me and told me what to write. It took me hours to decipher his simple but beautiful language.

  • LOOOOOOOOSER

  • Damn that's excatly why I left McDonald's. I hated working there. I wanna to punch all the female crew workers and managers.

  • never ever, tell a possible employer your unemployed, say your helping

a friend in their business ,farmer, family business, etc she is right

companys break out the cross and holy

water when you say " ( ive been without a job ) ive had LOTS

of piss ant jobs, some i clocked in then 5 minutes later clocked out and never

looked back, and have no regrets common sense- stepping stones........

  • im agree with you sassysecretary the same thing happen to me. Im operational manager in a small company. 2of my co-worker left because of my boss was being a jerk and my boss give me all the duty of 2 co-worker. I ask for a raise for the extra duty. she like you have to do the extra duty with the same pay because she thinks that i need the job and my wife had our first born.i really want to quit so i took all my vacation(i look for a job and i make double)I told her to take this job and shove it

  • wow! congrats.. im a college student working at hometown buffet and let me tell u its fucking crap.. Managers scream at you in front of ppl with no regard to descency nor respect. I wana do that too:-)

  • hahahahaha

  • I've been dreading my job since I started (over 6 months ago)

    It's not a career though............

I'm a teenager and I work at Dominos Pizza...

The people there are extremely cruel to me and I always get a pit in my stomach and sometimes even pray to God a few hours before going there

  • :-( maybe you can find something else...

  • im in the same situation dude, people treat me as their slave instead of waitor, i get my revenge though...

  • i know you feel, im about to submit my 2 weeks tomorrow.

at least i have a great job lined up already

  • grats

  • Food service is slavery.

  • You have no idea how stupid this will sound to you in 10 or 20 years. Your time is invaluable and no business can compensate you sufficiently for the life you give. Plus, you give your mind too, your soul goes as the company directs you. Being flexible means do it my way. Problem is, there will always be a few bottom smoochers who will do whatever it takes... which is usually too expensive in the long run...

  • take out a loan, fly to vegas, ride all of it on 13 black.

  • Epic

  • @Chenzo2323 thanks for the advice. I rode it on 13 black and now

    I am more poor.
